A former international model, mother, coach, speaker and founder of the PEP Institute, Brown’s journey was shaped by both extraordinary experiences and profound loss. After losing her third child in a tragic drowning accident, she embarked on a deeply personal search to understand grief, identity and resilience. Humans of Fuzia (HOF) is a global thought-leadership platform at the intersection of leadership, entrepreneurship, coaching, women empowerment and socially conscious business. Brown describes her work today as “perception infrastructure”—helping people understand how they perceive themselves, how they show up and how those perceptions influence their decisions.
Her signature Personal Excellence Profile (PEP) emerged after her coaching team recognized that she could see qualities in people that they struggled to recognize themselves. After 18 months of development, the assessment became a powerful tool for helping executives—particularly professional women—move beyond identifying themselves solely through their job titles.

Scaling a Coaching Business Without Losing Its Purpose
Brown’s most honest entrepreneurial challenge is also one shared by many coaches: scaling.
“I’m a coach. I can see the people. But as far as knowing how to scale… that’s a challenge for me.”
Marketing, sales, technology and automation sit outside her core expertise. Her next stage therefore isn’t about becoming an expert at everything. It’s about building the right growth systems and team capabilities around her expertise—including eventually bringing a technical leader into the business.
Her long-term vision is ambitious: hundreds of certified PEP coaches taking the methodology around the world, supported by digital learning, global certifications and larger speaking platforms.
Collaboration as a Growth Strategy
Brown believes solopreneurs don’t have to scale alone. Her advice is to build relationships with people in complementary fields, collaborate and share resources.
“We do have to be able to trust people, but to be able to collaborate is one of the things that I would say.”
