Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Coaching, Women Empowerment, Growth Systems & Social Impact: Debbie Harrell’s New World Normal

Debbie Harrell

What if sustainable business growth didn’t require entrepreneurs to exhaust themselves—or manipulate people into buying?

For Debbie Harrell, founder of the New World Normal Podcast & Community, that question has shaped an entrepreneurial journey built around resilience, authenticity, social impact, and a different approach to growth. Her philosophy challenges entrepreneurs to build businesses that support people without abandoning their values in the pursuit of revenue.

That perspective is particularly relevant in 2026, when coaches and small-business leaders are navigating team accountability, client acquisition, messaging clarity, growth complexity, and the need for scalable business systems.

At Humans of Fuzia, a global thought-leadership platform exploring leadership, entrepreneurship, coaching, women empowerment, and socially conscious business, these real entrepreneurial experiences matter. HOF understands the realities of coaches and entrepreneurs building businesses—and captures the lessons behind the polished success stories.

From Impact-First Entrepreneurship to Sustainable Business Growth

Debbie openly acknowledges that her early entrepreneurial journey was driven more by impact than income.

“I was more focused on having an impact than creating an income.”

Her mission eventually became clearer: support people navigating what she describes as a major transition in how society experiences work, relationships, and collective responsibility.

Her approach to entrepreneurship is therefore deeply connected to social impact and socially conscious leadership. Rather than simply adapting to existing systems, Debbie wants entrepreneurs to participate in creating the changes they want to see.

Ethical Coaching, Client Acquisition and Growth Systems

Scaling a coaching business created another tension. Traditional high-ticket coaching models did not align with Debbie’s desire to keep support accessible. She moved toward group programs and scalable models—but encountered marketing tactics she felt were inconsistent with her values.

Her solution has been to develop growth systems without sacrificing authenticity.

Instead of relying on artificial urgency, she is building automated funnels that allow systems to handle sales while she concentrates on client delivery.

“So let the system sell for me and yeah, save my energy for actually delivering the product.”

This reflects an important leadership principle: scalable systems should create capacity, not simply create more work.

Leadership Development Through Delegation and Systems

Debbie’s experience also highlights why delegation becomes difficult for founders. When a business is deeply personal, handing over responsibilities can feel like risking its voice and vision.

Her answer is process clarity.

“Once you identify them, makes it a little easier to delegate.”

For growing entrepreneurs, documenting processes, clarifying responsibilities, and developing systems can create the foundation for effective delegation and future team scaling.

Resilience, Coaching and the Future of Entrepreneurship

Debbie has transformed her former live boot camp, Resilience in a Bat-Crazy World, into a five-module recorded course. She sees resilience as foundational to expanding people’s capacity to engage with an increasingly complex world.

She is also returning to regular podcasting and rebuilding her 12-week program, with most content pre-recorded so she can preserve her energy for meaningful live client work.

Execution Tip

Identify one recurring task you perform repeatedly and document the process today. Once the process is clear, decide whether it can be automated, delegated, or turned into reusable content. That single step can become the beginning of a scalable business system.
