What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before starting your entrepreneurial journey.
I grew up in California, heavily influenced by American culture. I grew up in a diverse environment and felt equal to boys, never at a disadvantage. With a strong mother figure who instilled ambition in me, I set high expectations for myself and envisioned living an independent life where I got to call the shots.
What was that idea or motivation that made you start your business/initiative? What motivated you within to say YES, go for it?
For me, it was overcoming the perceived limitations of mental illness. I wanted to prove to myself that after being diagnosed with a mental illness, I still had potential, that I could enjoy a good quality of life. I wanted to show that I still mattered and that I could still make a difference against the odds.
Tell us something about your initiative or current role. What is it about, and what impact are you trying to make?
I empower individuals from all walks of life — students, professionals, entrepreneurs, and everyone in between — to find their voice and communicate with confidence. I work with coachees worldwide, helping them achieve their personal, academic, business, and professional goals through tailored coaching sessions that focus on enhancing their speaking skills, storytelling abilities, and overall presence. My coaching approach integrates proven public speaking techniques with insights into personal growth, ensuring each session is both effective and transformative.
Beyond coaching, I am a strong advocate for well-being and holistic therapies, believing that personal and professional success is deeply connected to a healthy mind, body, and spirit. I incorporate elements of mindfulness, stress management, and self-awareness into my coaching, helping my coachees develop not just as speakers, but as confident, authentic individuals.
What achievements or accomplishments would you like to mention?
I feel accomplished because of the excellent feedback I’ve received from my clients about the results they had after working with me. You can find more about my reviews here: https://preply.com/en/tutor/780212.
What change would you like to see in the world if given an opportunity?
I would like to see women being more confident all over the world. Taking more leadership roles and believing in themselves. The world needs our input to be a better place for all of us; it’s our job to assert ourselves into all spaces so we can make our contributions and impact.
What are your thoughts about women leadership today?
Although there are societal pressures like the expectations of being a sentimental partner or fulfilling parental roles that limit women’s growth, often times self-imposed limitations like insecurities, self-doubt, impostor syndrome, perfectionist syndrome, or a harsh inner critic are bigger barriers. We must persevere and push through to break these barriers and bring our gifts and talents to leadership positions with strength and determination.
What would you want to say to our young leaders/audience reading this?
Don’t let your past, your circumstances, or anybody define who you are or how far you can get. Your potential knows no limits.
