Empowering Growth: Lama’s Journey from Pharmacist to Coach

Lama is an internationally accredited trainer and public speaking coach with a background in pharmacy and 15 years of experience in management and sales. She transitioned into coaching and training, working with individuals and organizations to develop skills and achieve their goals. Her journey into coaching was inspired by her personal health challenges, which led her to focus on empowering others and promoting positive mental health.

Could you elaborate on the nature of your business, highlighting its purpose and the ways it benefits people?

In the coaching and training sector, I work with individuals and organizations to develop their skills and help people achieve their short-term and long-term goals.

What inspired you to start your journey as a coach and entrepreneur? Were there any specific events, challenges, or people that motivated you to take this path?

I had three autoimmune diseases, and the last one, where I lost all of my hair, was my wake-up call to quit my job and pursue my dream. As my diseases were psychosomatic, meaning biological diseases triggered by psychological factors, I took it as a chance to work in a sector where I empower people and help them lead healthy, successful lives while promoting positive mental health.

Looking back at the beginning of your career, what were the major challenges you faced when establishing yourself as a leader/coach? How did you overcome those obstacles?

The biggest challenge was maintaining a steady, stable income and overcoming procrastination. I overcame procrastination by focusing on discipline rather than motivation.

Would you like to share any remarkable achievements?

Every milestone with my clients is an achievement that is worth celebrating.

Women are a growing force in workplaces worldwide, standing shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts. What are your thoughts about women’s leadership today?

I believe there are no gender roles. A leader is a leader, whether male or female. However, in our modern society, it is still expected that women work as if they have no children and raise their children as if they have no work.

What message/advice would you have for future women leaders and aspiring entrepreneurs?

Be consistent and persistent regardless of the challenges. It’s not an easy road, but you’re going to reach places if you don’t give up!
