Teodora Juduc

Teodora Juduc is a leadership and career burnout coach. She tells us that, “I help managers grow into inspiring leaders who know how to avoid burnout and bring out the best in their teams. I have over a decade of corporate experience, I started my career as a software developer and I transitioned into more client-facing, leadership and mentoring roles after I moved from Romania to the USA. I believe leadership is a lifestyle, not just a job title and I am so excited to have this opportunity to make an impact in the world.”

Before you became the business titan you are today, enlighten us about the thrilling adventures of your pre-business life.

Growing up, I was always an active and curious kid. I practiced all kinds of sports and activities – Romanian folk dance, gymnastics, handball, and even chess, which I played competitively for over 15 years. Looking back, those experiences really helped me develop skills that have been invaluable, both as a coach and in my corporate career. Things like discipline, teamwork, adaptability, analytical thinking, and risk management are a handful of many more skills I developed. I learned how to push myself, make tough decisions, and understand the benefits of working out that go beyond just looking good.

After getting my master’s degree in computer science, I started my career as a software developer. Over the years, as a high-achiever, I climbed the corporate ladder quickly, taking on more leadership roles like training, mentoring, and managing complex projects. But I also started to struggle with some of the downsides of that high-intensity, fast-paced lifestyle. I got so laser-focused on work and hitting deadlines that I began neglecting my own health and wellbeing.

Eventually, I reached a point where I knew I had to make a change. And I had two choices – let others dictate the course of my life, or take the driver’s seat and be in charge of which destinations I want to reach. So I chose the latter.

I started investing in myself, reconnecting with things that truly inspired me, like family, nature, and intellectual growth. And as I did that inner work, I started seeing positive ripple effects in every area of my life, including my leadership abilities at work.

I found that by communicating with more clarity and vulnerability, I was able to earn the deep trust and respect of my teams and clients. No more fluff – just genuine, human-centered leadership.

That’s really where the seeds of my current coaching business were planted. I realized I had a unique ability to inspire and empower other managers and team members to step into their full potential. And I knew I must share what I know with as many people as possible.

Of course, starting my own business hasn’t been easy. There have been plenty of challenges and lessons learned along the way. But I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world. Because it’s all led me to where I am today – a purpose-driven leader on a mission to empower young people to take the driver’s seat and lead their own lives in alignment with their core values.

Could you elaborate on the nature of your initiative/ business/current role, highlighting its purpose and the ways it benefits people?

The core purpose of my coaching business is to empower managers to step into their full potential, without sacrificing their health and wellbeing in the process. Through my content on social media, group masterclasses and one-on-one support, I help people develop the mindset, skills, and strategies to become truly inspiring, human-centered leaders

The key benefit is that my clients are able to achieve remarkable results for their organizations, while also finding greater fulfillment and balance in their own lives. By learning to communicate with clarity and vulnerability, they earn the deep trust and respect of their teams. And by prioritizing their own self-care, they have more energy and focus to pour into their work and their teams.

Ultimately, my mission is to create a ripple effect – to equip managers to positively transform the lives of everyone they interact with, from their direct reports to their clients. It’s about so much more than just hitting targets or checking boxes. It’s about cultivating workplaces and communities where people can truly thrive. That’s the kind of change I’m committed to driving.

What has been the response of the users/consumers towards your venture?

The response to my coaching and leadership roles has been incredibly positive. I have many recommendations and testimonials from the people I’ve worked with, whether they were part of my team or clients. They consistently share that they feel truly heard and supported, not just as professionals, but as whole human beings.

The most rewarding part for me is seeing the real impact my work has on people’s lives. In my corporate roles, I’ve helped deliver complex projects with high quality, keep clients highly satisfied, and enable my teams to work at their full potential without burning out. I’ve been able to do this over and over again, which shows it’s not just luck, but about knowing how to communicate and setting expectations effectively.

Everyone knows what’s best for them, I’m just an example of what’s possible when you live in alignment with your core values, and are genuinely there for your team and clients.

At the end of the day, my purpose is to create positive change by empowering leaders to show up with authenticity.

The feedback I’ve received from the people I’ve interacted with motivates me to keep making a difference, one leader at a time.

Having a strong support system is essential for your well-being. We would love to know who your biggest supporter is. Share with us and let’s celebrate the amazing people in our lives who make a positive impact.

I agree that having a strong support system is essential to keep making progress towards your dreams, even when life gets tough. The biggest supporters in my life are my spouse and my dogs. No matter what ups and downs I go through, they are always there to provide emotional support, encourage me, and remind me of why I’m doing all of this.

Over the years, I’ve also had a long list of mentors and communities that have supported me at different stages of my journey. When I first moved to the USA, I had an amazing community of people who were also working on improving their English. Later on, I joined sales communities focused on serving clients better, public speaking groups to learn authentic self-expression, coaching circles to develop active listening skills and ask better questions, and entrepreneurship communities to learn everything from sales to marketing to human psychology.

When you step outside the traditional path, the journey can become very lonely at times. That’s why having people around you who share your values and dreams is essential for staying accountable and motivated. Their support and perspective have been invaluable in helping me keep moving forward, even when the path ahead isn’t clear.

As a young woman entrepreneur, what changes do you hope to see in the world and what opportunities are you seeking?

I envision a world where more people feel empowered to live in alignment with their core values and share their unique, valuable contributions.

To help make this vision a reality, I’m seeking opportunities to build strong communities that empower and support each other. I also want to develop projects that provide coaching and resources to support aspiring leaders.

Women now stand shoulder-to-shoulder with men in the workplace, breaking through glass ceilings to reach the top. What are your thoughts on women’s leadership today?

I quickly climbed the corporate ladder, taking on a role reporting directly to the company’s vice president. More than 90% of my coworkers and clients are men, but I don’t feel intimidated by this. To be honest, I’m not even focused on it, because my main priority is to earn their trust through the value I bring and the person I become.

I believe trust is earned when someone sees you have something unique and valuable to offer. It’s not about status or position – it’s about how you show up and what you contribute. When you consistently deliver high quality, go above and beyond, and prove yourself to be trustworthy and reliable, that’s when people will naturally start to trust and respect you. Any promotions or advancements will come as a natural result of your actions and the impact you make.
