Paul Haynes is a Transformational Executive and Leadership Coach.

He tells us that, “I’m a leadership coach and facilitator, specialising in transformational change. With over a decade of experience working with global executives across various industries, I help leaders navigate pressure, gain clarity, and thrive. My approach is grounded in authenticity, resilience, and deep care for my clients’ growth, focusing on profound, lasting transformation. I have a particular passion for aligning individuals and teams with their core values to achieve exceptional outcomes.

What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before starting your corporate journey/venture/initiative.

I grew up in a small town, surrounded by people who valued hard work and community. From a young age, I was curious about human behaviour and what drives people to reach their potential. Before stepping into leadership coaching, I spent years in various industries, learning how teams operate and how leaders shape their organisations. These early experiences gave me insight into the pressure and complexity leaders face, which ultimately fuelled my passion to help them succeed.

Every industry that is now a large-scale, top-notch business once started as a small idea in the minds of entrepreneurs. What was that idea or motivation that made you start your business /initiative? What motivated you within to say YES, go for it!”

The idea for my business was born from a pivotal moment in my career when I saw the power of transformative leadership. I witnessed the profound impact it had on a struggling team, rebuilding trust and collaboration. This experience motivated me to start my own journey, helping leaders tap into their potential, align with their core, and unlock their ability to thrive under pressure. I said “Yes” because I believe that leadership can be a force for deep, meaningful change.

Would you like to share with our young budding women entrepreneurs the change you would like to see in the world if given an opportunity?

I would love to see a world where leadership is rooted in authenticity, resilience, and compassion. For young women entrepreneurs, I encourage leading with these values, embracing your unique strengths, and carving out your space with courage. The world needs leaders who are not afraid to be themselves, challenge the status quo, and build a future based on collaboration and connection. The more diverse voices we have leading the way, the stronger our future will be.

Women are a growing force in the workplaces worldwide, standing shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts. There are cracks in glass ceilings everywhere, with many women breaking through to carve out a space right at the top of the pyramid. What are your thoughts about women leadership today?

Women are reshaping leadership by bringing a focus on empathy, collaboration, and adaptability. In today’s fast-changing world, these qualities are more essential than ever. As women continue to break through the glass ceiling, they challenge outdated norms and redefine what it means to be a leader. The rise of women in leadership inspires me because they lead with strength, insight, and authenticity. I believe we need more diverse voices at the table to create sustainable, forward-thinking solutions to global challenges.

What’s the most important thing you have learned in your personal life and professional journey? What is your personal motto in life?

The most important lesson I’ve learned is the value of self-worth. It’s something I’ve embraced through my own personal journey, recognising that our worth is not determined by external validation, but by how we align with our values and show up authentically in the world. My personal motto is, “Embrace your worth and lead with courage.” This belief guides my coaching practice and my life, empowering me to help others discover their true potential.

With your grit and determination, you are making a considerable impact, breaking through, and serving as role models for many budding entrepreneurs. What would you want to say to our young women leaders/audience reading this?

To the young women reading this, I encourage you to trust yourself and your vision. Don’t be afraid to take risks, to lead with your values, and to embrace the challenges along the way. Every setback is an opportunity to learn and grow. You have everything you need to succeed within you—tap into your resilience, and let that guide you. The world needs more leaders like you to step up and create the change we all want to see.
