Meet Yasin Mammeri, the founder of Viral Video Club, a mastermind community for creators that thrives on one simple principle—feedback accelerates growth. What started as his personal journey into content strategy soon turned into a mission to help others unlock their creative potential. Yasin’s perspective on entrepreneurship, balance, and authenticity offers valuable lessons for our global audience of over 5 million at Humans of Fuzia, where we celebrate voices working towards He for She and She for She. His story reminds us that building businesses doesn’t have to come at the cost of well-being—it can be done with balance, creativity, and community.
Q: Yasin, can you share how Viral Video Club began and what inspired you to start it?
A: I used to run an advertising copywriting agency, and to generate leads I started posting on TikTok and Instagram. Over time, I became more obsessed with content growth and creative strategy than copywriting itself. I found myself constantly in conversations with other creators about what was or wasn’t working. That obsession became the seed of Viral Video Club. I started small—just bringing people together in a mastermind, sharing feedback, and building from there. The belief that feedback is the fastest way to grow on socials is still the root of everything we do today.
Q: How does Viral Video Club connect with people today?
A: Mostly through organic attention. People usually find us via content, reach out through DMs or email, and then we filter to see who’s the right fit for the program. We run a four-month bootcamp, and from there, some continue with us longer term.
Q: With AI changing the landscape of content, what’s your take on it?
A: I use AI daily, and it’s incredibly useful for automating and gathering information. But here’s the challenge—it’s easy to let AI think for you, and that’s dangerous. Wrestling with your own thoughts is boring and difficult, but it’s where real insight comes from. AI can summarize information, but it often lacks depth and nuance. Insight is what drives real growth, not just surface-level information. So I try to use AI where it makes sense—automation and research—but I stay disciplined about doing the hard thinking myself.
Q: Looking back at your journey so far, what’s an achievement you’re most proud of?
A: Honestly, building the business itself is the achievement. Every testimonial we get from someone who’s had a transformation means a lot to me. Of course, I’ve been proud of revenue milestones too, but nothing compares to the feeling of seeing creators grow and succeed because of what we built.
Q: You’ve been featured in our HeForShe section. Can you tell us about the role women have played in your journey?
A: My partner has been a huge support from day one. During my first big launch, I was under a lot of emotional stress, feeling like I was pressing the accelerator and brake at the same time. She was calm but firm in her belief in me—reminding me I could do it when I wanted to quit. Beyond that, many women in my life have shown me that success doesn’t have to come through burnout or sacrifice. They’ve modeled how to hold a career, nurture relationships, and still live a good, balanced life. That’s something I actively try to learn from and bring into both my work and personal life.
Q: What’s one piece of advice you’d share with budding entrepreneurs?
A: It won’t be easy, but it doesn’t have to be painful either. A lot of people believe success requires sacrificing health, relationships, and happiness—but research shows the opposite. Those who are curious, balanced, and enjoying the process often perform better than those burning out. Challenge the assumption that hustle is the only way. Look at different role models. Some build billion-dollar companies through sacrifice, while others do it through balance and joy. Find what truly makes you happy—not what society, family, or peers expect—and follow that wholeheartedly.
“Challenge assumptions about success. You don’t have to burn out to achieve great things—sometimes the best growth comes when you’re having fun, staying balanced, and being true to yourself.” – Yasin Mammeri
