Anya Levi is an Ayurvedic Practitioner, Health Coach and YouTuber/TikToker. She has a vision: a world of wellness and her purpose is to spread ancient wisdom for modern minds.
She started creating content on TikTok, called @Wellness.in.theCity, because she wanted to spread wisdom for wellness in the modern world and help people heal, transform and grow. She wanted to share the practices, herbs, and mindset that helped her, and her clients, overcome chronic physical illnesses, as well as mental health rock bottoms. She is extremely happy that this information resonated with people and she now has 180K followers!
Tell us about your life before the venture/ leading up to your venture?
At university I ‘looked’ successful (studying Economics at LSE, had loads of friends, went to cool parties) but, I was not following my passion or purpose, I was burnt out and struggling mentally, physically and spiritually. Things needed to change and when I found Ayurveda everything changed for me.
Tell us something about your organization. What is it about and how is it helpful for people?
After going through a mental, physical, and spiritual rock bottom the universe led to becoming an Ayurvedic practitioner and health coach, which was life-changing for not only myself but also my clients. I personally have recovered naturally and am not on any medication and have helped others do the same.
I now not only work 1-1 with clients but also create content on social media, mainly YouTube and TikTok, where I share tips, tricks and hacks for healing the mind body and soul, as well as how to make your own remedies (or if you don’t have time) where to find them. I also interview inspirational guests and powerful healers in the hopes to spread their knowledge too.
Right now I am working on an online course, a book and a group-coaching program where I hope to teach people how to love themselves, heal themselves, learn how to nourish their mind, body and soul and create the life of their dreams. This will all be launched by the end of October 2022.
What has been the response of the consumers towards your venture?
Although I am very proud of reaching 180K followers and hitting that milestone, it’s the individual lives that I have touched and helped transform that make my life worth living.
I have helped clients stop hormone birth control and get their periods back. I have helped clients feel like themselves again, full of energy and vitality, not just ‘not sick’. I have also helped clients leave toxic relationships, get sober and stay sober, start new ventures and businesses, as well as find their purpose and meaning. Also, comments from my followers like…
-> ‘I canceled my botox appointment after watching this’
-> ‘I needed to hear this thank you, I was feeling very low’
-> ‘I am going to try this herb out for my headaches instead of popping a pill today’
… is something I feel is a ‘win’.
No matter how much money I make or how busy I am I will always make time for 1-1 coaching because I feel like changing 1 life has an incredible impact on the world. They can then spread their own light (I am sure people have heard of the butterfly effect, well this is the reverse).
How has your life changed because of your venture?
Every day I get to do what I love- when I study and read health-related content I feel always in a state of flow like I can go on forever. I also feel extremely fulfilled, like I matter, because I help people heal and create better lives for themselves. Watching people change is truly the biggest blessing. I am so grateful that people resonate with my content and find it helpful too, because I love filming and editing videos. I hope to make health and education fun and entertaining.

I will tell you the story of 2 frogs that were thrown in a jar of milk and started kicking their legs to stay afloat. One frog said ‘this is useless’, stopped moving, and sunk to the bottom of the jar. The other frog kept saying ‘just keep moving’ and eventually the milk turned into sour cream, then butter and the frog was able to jump out of the jar- he was free! So, whatever your milk is, just keep moving.
