Tell us about your life before the venture/ leading up to your venture?
I am a survivor of childhood sexual trauma. I was abused from the age of 6 to 15 years old by four perpetrators, all being men who were supposed to keep me safe. And you can only imagine the struggles I had throughout adulthood with the unhealed baggage in my life. It finally took me over with an attempt at suicide at age 19. I began my healing journey to remove the many layers to who I really am.
Tell us something about your organization. What is it about and how is it helpful for people?
We provide transformational services for women of color with full life coaching, counseling, housing resources, career services, and support for those who are unhoused—helping them realize their full potential by co-creating and implementing a strategic full life coaching plan.
What has been the response of the consumers towards your venture? (Please talk about your recognitions/ achievements here)
I have received the LIBN Award in recognition of DEI, the Of Colors Black History Award, a Proclamation for Distinguished Service, and the Black Business of the Year Award.
How has your life changed because of your venture?
It has brought more awareness into my life, and a greater sense of purpose and direction.

To be who you are is the best thing you could do. It may mean shedding things that you’ve heard, learned, or patterned after, but underneath there is so much more.
