If your business could have a mascot, what would it be and why?
Like the sun, we empower individuals, teams, and organizations to shine brightly, enabling them to radiate their unique energy and impact onto their clients.

What strategies do you employ to maintain a healthy work-life balance while running your own business?
I am starting to outsource work to experts in order to reclaim more of my time.

When faced with unexpected detours on your business path, how do you pivot with grace and resilience, showing fellow women entrepreneurs the way forward?
In life, I have the choice to either resist or flow with the detours that come my way. I try to remind myself to embrace the flow and find peace with what’s unfolding naturally. By doing this, I open myself up to the advice, support, and assistance that will inevitably come when I need it most. I don’t have all the answers, and that’s perfectly okay — help is usually closer than I think.

How do you measure the success of your business beyond financial metrics, such as customer satisfaction or community engagement?
I measure success by my clients’ ability to change or transform. When working with individuals, success is about them stepping outside their comfort zones—like, for example, learning to give feedback. This concept scales within a group or organization as well. For instance, increasing a company’s ability to better appreciate its employees comes from small, everyday decisions and actions that people learn and implement throughout the organization. When giving a talk to a larger group, success is about awakening something within each individual that encourages them to think differently or approach challenges in a new way.

Can you share a memorable moment where you witnessed significant growth or transformation in your business, illustrating the impact of your services/products?
Case Study 1: Improving Customer Retention Through Strategic Communication
Recently, I led the implementation of a new communication strategy for an organization, working with a cross-functional team of subject matter experts (SMEs). Together, we developed key assets and process recommendations specifically for the customer success managers (CSMs).

With the introduction of these new tools and processes, the CSMs were able to significantly increase their customer touchpoints. The number of customer meetings jumped from 74 to over 350, a massive spike that directly contributed to a 3% increase in customer retention.

This surge in interactions not only helped the company strengthen its relationships with customers but also empowered the customer success reps. They gained the confidence to reach out to even the most challenging clients, ultimately fostering more meaningful connections and improving overall customer satisfaction.

This initiative showcases how well-designed assets and clear processes not only enhance team performance and customer retention but also drive a transformation in both individual behaviors and overall team dynamics. By providing structure and confidence, the team was able to adopt new strategies and approaches, ultimately fostering growth and sustained change.

Case Study 2: Upskilling Frontline Management and Enhancing Team Performance
At one point, I worked with a company that faced a significant challenge: they needed to upskill their frontline management team. After assessing the situation, we identified one of the team’s biggest pain points: psychological safety. This lack of psychological safety led to unclear and non-transparent conversations, preventing problems from being surfaced and addressed proactively. As a result, issues went unresolved, which ultimately caused product downtime and other operational disruptions.

To address this, I introduced a tool called Rising Team, an AI-powered management platform designed to help frontline leaders skill up both themselves and their teams. This tool focused on three key areas: helping individuals build resilience, improving team collaboration, and better prioritizing their work.

By leveraging Rising Team, the frontline leaders were able to have more open and transparent conversations, improving trust and psychological safety within the team. This shift in communication allowed for problems to be identified and resolved more effectively, significantly reducing product downtime and enhancing overall team performance.

This initiative not only empowered the frontline management team with the tools they needed to succeed but also created a cultural transformation where individuals felt safer to share challenges, ask for help, and work together toward shared goals. Ultimately, the combination of upskilling and psychological safety led to a more resilient, collaborative, and productive team.

What role do you believe mentorship plays in the success of small businesses, and how have mentors influenced your own entrepreneurial journey?
I believe it’s mission-critical. My mentors have helped me by sharing what worked and what didn’t for them. They’ve encouraged me to consider certain questions that have helped me improve. A lot of valuable introspection and recommendations have come from their guidance, and I’m eternally grateful to them.

What’s your work all about, and how does it make a difference in the world?
I help people realize that they can have a massive impact on the world. This creates a positive ripple effect, inspiring others to awaken and pursue what they are meant to do.
