Tell us about your life before the venture/ leading up to your venture?
Following 18 years in a corporate role, I ran a multi-award-winning franchise business for 11 years, with 20 employees and over 200 regular customers.
I successfully sold the business in January 2019 and retrained as a coach.
Tell us something about your organization. What is it about and how is it helpful for people?
My organization is about empowering female entrepreneurs to thrive in their business, mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Through coaching, mindset strategies and self care practices, I help clients effect positive change. This enables them to achieve their goals and go beyond what they thought was possible. It is helpful because it does not require clients to DO more, but BE more!
What has been the response of the consumers towards your venture?
Clients have responded well to my venture and have themselves seen great results since working with me. One client has doubled the size of her six figure business and is now enjoying more free time than ever.
Here are a few testimonials I would like to share:
- Amanda offered strategies and ideas that were so in tune and relevant to what I needed. Each session was a magical space which changed me in some way.
- I wholeheartedly recommend Amanda and her ability to lead you to see all the great things about yourself that you’re not looking at.
- Amanda has a very natural style to enable all of the chaos in my thinking to reorder and gain structure.
- I’ve really felt so inspired by the direction of our sessions. Conversational but very purposeful.
- I’m really grateful for the progress Amanda has enabled in me.
How has your life changed because of your venture?
When coaching, you often find the topics clients bring to you are EXACTLY what you yourself need to work on. And so it is a very productive relationship. In helping clients to ground themselves more in the present, I have become more mindful and calmer. Moving away from a business which had 20 employees to just me has also enabled me to write and study more. It has been challenging at times, of course, but also joyous, and I am happier as a result.
