Could you elaborate on the nature of your business, highlighting its purpose and the ways it benefits people?
As Global Director of BitAngels, I lead international expansion and strategic initiatives for one of the world’s first and most prominent blockchain investor networks. BitAngels connects accredited investors with early-stage blockchain and Web3 startups through curated pitch events and community-driven collaboration. I oversee global chapter development, cultivate investor and founder relationships, and drive visibility for innovative projects shaping the future of decentralized technologies. My role is rooted in fostering responsible investment, accelerating high-impact ventures, and building a trusted global ecosystem for digital asset innovation.
What inspired you to start your journey as a coach and entrepreneur? Were there any specific events, challenges, or people that motivated you to take this path?
My journey as a coach and entrepreneur began after a life-altering event—surviving being hit by a semi-truck. That moment forced me to reevaluate everything: my health, purpose, and the legacy I wanted to leave. During my recovery, I immersed myself in personal development, technology, and the emerging world of blockchain. I was fortunate to be mentored by Dima Buterin (a founder at Ethereum), whose guidance helped shape my vision and understanding of decentralized systems. Later, joining BitAngels, who funded ETH, solidified my commitment to innovation. These experiences fueled my mission to empower others, build transformative businesses, and lead with resilience and purpose.
Looking back at the beginning of your career, what were the major challenges you faced when establishing yourself as a leader/coach? How did you overcome those obstacles?
At the beginning of my career, one of the biggest challenges I faced was being taken seriously in male-dominated industries like tech, blockchain, and finance. I often had to prove my credibility twice over—once for my expertise, and again for simply being a woman in the room. Additionally, recovering from a traumatic accident tested my physical and emotional limits, but it also became a catalyst for growth. I overcame these challenges by staying relentlessly committed to learning, aligning myself with powerful mentors like Michael Terpin, David Chaum, and Don Tapscott, and building communities that valued integrity, innovation, and inclusion. Resilience became my foundation as a leader.
Would you like to share any remarkable achievement?
I was able to heal my disabilities with love and gratitude, so you can do anything you can dream. 🙂
Women are a growing force in the workplaces worldwide, standing shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts. What are your thoughts about women leadership today?
Women in leadership today are not only reshaping industries but redefining what effective leadership looks like. We bring emotional intelligence, resilience, collaboration, and a long-term vision that’s critical in today’s complex, rapidly evolving world. While the road hasn’t always been easy, women are now standing confidently beside their male counterparts—not in competition, but in co-creation. We’re moving beyond the need to fit into outdated molds, and instead, we’re designing new models of leadership rooted in authenticity, empathy, and impact. The rise of women leaders isn’t just a trend—it’s a transformation that is essential for the future of global progress.
What message/advice would you have for future women leaders and aspiring entrepreneurs?
To all future women leaders and aspiring entrepreneurs: believe in the power of your voice, your vision, and your value. You don’t need permission to lead—only the courage to begin. Embrace the challenges as part of the process; they are shaping your resilience and sharpening your wisdom. Surround yourself with people who inspire growth, and never underestimate the strength that comes from leading with empathy and authenticity. Most importantly, trust your intuition. The world needs your unique perspective, your bold ideas, and your fearless heart. You are not just building a business—you’re paving the way for others to rise.
