Dr. Michelle Prince is a human capital consultant.
She tells us that, “It means that I work with clients to advance their strategic organizational transformation efforts through effective Human Capital strategies, processes, technology, and protocols that drive enhanced employee engagement and productivity. I have over 30 years of experience working with companies to advance their strategic leadership development and organization effectiveness. Through my work as a Leadership Coach, I empower professionals to accelerate through career transformations and navigate productively across a wide range of professional and organizational challenges. I am also a co-author and contributor for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Corporate Guidebook series with the SHERPA Institute, to promote sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment, and decent work for all (SDG 8). In addition, I am an Advisory Board member for several global technology startups and upskilling/reskilling-related professional organizations. I am engaged in a variety of volunteer and community activities related to helping people live their best lives, and when I am not doing all of that I am probably playing golf, tennis, pickleball or doing yoga. My husband and I have been married for over 30 years, we’ve raised two wonderfully compassionate young men, and currently share our home with a dog and three rambunctious cats.”
Tell us about your life before the venture/ leading up to your venture?
During my tenure at several Fortune 500 multinational companies, I was fortunate to have worked in two international assignments and traveled quite a bit to work with global stakeholders and colleagues in over twenty-six countries across the United Kingdom, Europe, the Americas, and Asia. During my corporate career I had been a key leader of people practices, global technology implementations, and transformational business challenges in response to changes in customer expectations, market variations, organizational shifts, and legal regulatory compliance requirements. When I decided it was time to go out on my own, I established MPrince Consulting LLC so that I could help other organizations based on my experience and knowledge, have more flexibility with my time, and choose the type of work I wished to pursue.
Tell us something about your organization. What is it about and how is it helpful for people?
I help people achieve their personal best. I provide tailored coaching and consultation to drive transformational changes in people, teams, and organizations. When I am coaching ambitious professionals I help them achieve their desired advancement, and when I am coaching leaders we work together to enhance their own performance, engagement, and productivity as well as with their teams. Companies hire me to help their leaders successfully onboard into new roles, excel during transformations, and navigate a range of organizational challenges. As a Human Capital and Capability Consultant I help companies build resilient, future-focused workplaces and workforces.
What has been the response of the consumers towards your venture?

How has your life changed because of your venture?
MPrince Consulting LLC enables me to have an amazing “second season” of my career as a coach and consultant, enabling me to choose the type of work I want to do and help make the world a better place for all, while having flexibility and ownership of my own schedule.
What are you working on right now?
Aside from working on improving my golf score, I am super excited that the research and writing completed for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Corporate Guidebook is going to be published very soon. Along with a global team of industry expert co-authors and researchers, our mission is to contribute to the achievement of the UN 2030 Agenda by engaging and guiding the private sector for awareness of the SDGs and the importance of their contributions to the realization of these visionary goals. The guidebook provides a translation of the international goals into ways to incorporate them into company strategies – because the SDGs cannot be achieved solely through efforts of government agencies, NGOs and other nonprofits.

My advice is don’t hesitate to reach out for help when you need it. If you are struggling to achieve your career goals or need some help to boost your career satisfaction a coach can help you. If you are ready for more challenges or advancement but are not getting to the next level at your company a coach can help you. Many of my clients like what they are doing but would love to be more fulfilled and energized the way you used to be, and a coach can help. If you have realized it’s time for a career shift, then it’s time to get started. I wish you great success, career satisfaction, in a workplace where you can thrive and achieve your personal best.
