What were your initial years of growing up like?
Raised by strong women, I struggled with perfectionism, people-pleasing, and self-neglect. Although I explored many passions, my need for approval overshadowed my own desires. This journey led me to a deep personal growth path, where I learned to embrace vulnerability as a strength. My background as a nurse and my passion for empowering ambitious moms culminated in creating the BLOOM framework, a tool for women to overcome limiting beliefs and reclaim their self-worth.
What motivated you to start your business or initiative?
My journey began after twice facing burnout, struggling to juggle motherhood and my career. I knew other moms were experiencing similar challenges, so I developed the BLOOM framework to help them balance their aspirations without losing themselves. Through my book, coaching program, and speaking engagements, I guide women toward a life where they thrive on their own terms.
Message to young women entrepreneurs:
Embrace vulnerability, authenticity, and self-care. By sharing our journeys openly, we can inspire a new generation of women leaders to tap into their unique strengths and overcome adversity. Supporting each other is essential for creating a future where women’s leadership is celebrated and integral.
Thoughts on women in leadership today:
Women’s leadership is gaining momentum, but self-care is often overlooked. As we shatter glass ceilings, it’s essential to foster a culture of well-being. This shift will sustain our achievements and set an example for others to prioritize their mental health and growth.
Personal motto and advice for young women leaders:
My motto is: “Own Your Story, Manifest Mindfulness, and Bloom.” Embrace your journey, seek growth opportunities, and surround yourself with mentors who uplift you. Your resilience and passion will help break barriers, so believe in yourself and keep pursuing your dreams.
