Debbie Rich is a holistic health and wellness coach and the founder of Running On Inspiration. Her journey is one of rediscovery, resilience, and a deep commitment to helping spiritually minded women reconnect with themselves. After years of supporting others, she realized the importance of creating healthy boundaries, practicing self-love, and nurturing one’s own well-being. Today, she empowers women to prioritize themselves, rebuild confidence, and live in alignment with joy and purpose—making her story a true source of inspiration for our global community.
Q: Can you share a little about your journey and what inspired you to start this work?
Debbie: My journey began back in 2018 when I realized I needed clear boundaries and more self-love. In 2020, during the global pause, I had the space to go deeper into spiritual practices, health, and self-exploration. I began studying wellness coaching, mental fitness, astrology, and spiritual modalities. I discovered how interconnected our mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being truly is. That inspired me to shift my career focus—previously I supported children and families, but now I primarily focus on moms and women. If the mom is happy, whole, and healthy, the entire family benefits.
Q: Who do you primarily work with through Running On Inspiration?
Debbie: My focus is spiritually minded women, often moms. Women, and especially mothers, tend to put themselves last—caring for partners, kids, work, the home, and so much more. Many of them feel lost, depleted, or disconnected. They’re on autopilot, giving from an empty cup. My work is about helping them refill that cup—so they can give from a place of abundance rather than exhaustion.
Q: What challenges have you faced while building your practice?
Debbie: One of the biggest challenges has been trusting my own journey and voice—just stepping out and following that spiritual nudge. Another challenge is wearing all the hats: coaching, marketing, administration, billing—it’s a lot to manage as a solopreneur. But even with the challenges, the passion for what I do makes it all worthwhile.
Q: What are your aspirations for the future?
Debbie: My biggest goal is to empower as many women as possible to shine, reclaim their happiness, and break free from cycles that keep them stuck. I want to create a safe, compassionate community where women can share honestly, heal, celebrate growth, and lift each other up. Ultimately, I want them to know they are not alone on their journeys.
Q: What message would you like to leave with our readers?
Debbie: If you’ve spent years caring for everyone else, know that it’s not selfish to care for yourself. You can still support your family while also supporting your own well-being. Start small with one act of self-love, believe in yourself, and trust what brings you joy—you truly deserve to be happy.
“You cannot pour from an empty cup—give yourself permission to refill it and shine from the inside out.” – Debbie Rich
