Can you tell us about your background and what inspired the name of your business, “Great In, Great Out”?
My background is in advertising, where we often talked about how the quality of input determines the quality of output. If you receive a poor brief, the result will reflect that. When I started working independently, I carried this principle into my consultancy work and later into nutrition coaching. The idea is simple — if you put great things in, you get great results out. This philosophy applies to business, health, and personal growth, which is how the name “Great In, Great Out” came to life.
What led you to transition from health coaching to business coaching?
It was a gradual journey. I initially became a health coach after improving my own health through nutrition and lifestyle changes. While working with clients, I realized that stress was a major factor behind many chronic health issues. This led me to explore leadership and mindset coaching to better support them.
Through this process, I discovered my natural strengths — understanding patterns, analyzing structures, and identifying why things aren’t working. I realized that I enjoyed the strategic and organizational side of business, which many coaches struggle with. That realization guided my transition into helping coaches grow and structure their businesses effectively.
You work closely with women leaders. What unique strengths do women bring to leadership?
Leadership is not just about gender but about energy — feminine and masculine energies, which everyone possesses. Many women in leadership roles try to emulate traditionally masculine leadership styles, which can lead to stress and burnout because it may not align with their natural strengths.
Women often bring qualities that are sometimes labeled as “soft,” such as intuition, empathy, and collaboration, but these are incredibly powerful leadership tools. My work focuses on helping women embrace and apply these strengths effectively so they can lead in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.
What barriers still hold women back in leadership today?
Cultural conditioning often causes women to suppress their natural leadership traits because they are not always recognized as traditional leadership qualities. Many women struggle to use their inherent strengths confidently or feel pressured to conform to existing models of leadership. Helping women recognize and leverage their unique abilities is key to overcoming these barriers.
Could you tell us about your business model and the services you offer?
I mainly work with clients in a personalized one-to-one setting because every individual and business is unique. However, I offer a few different entry points.
One is a six-week business audit that identifies growth opportunities or bottlenecks within a business. I also offer a group program designed especially for new coaches and wellbeing practitioners, helping them build businesses aligned with their leadership style and values. My signature offering is personalized coaching that combines business strategy with leadership development, tailored to each client’s needs.
What are your thoughts on the growing role of AI in business and leadership?
AI is a powerful tool and I use it regularly. It helps with efficiency and productivity, but I also believe there’s a risk if people rely on it too heavily. There’s a danger that everyone may start sounding and thinking the same, which could reduce originality and authenticity. The key is to use AI as a support tool while maintaining independent thinking and creativity.
What advice would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs?
There is no magic formula for business success. Growth is an ongoing process that requires consistency, patience, and continuous effort. What works for one person may not work for another, so it’s important to find your own path, stay committed, and nurture your business over time.
“Don’t search for a magic formula — stay consistent, show up every day, and growth will follow.”
