Ashley Conyers is the founder of Divine Glow Coaching, a space where women of faith are encouraged to step into their light, overcome self-doubt, and live out their purpose with clarity and confidence. From her roots as a licensed social worker to her transformative journey into entrepreneurship, Ashley’s story is one of resilience, faith, and action. Humans of Fuzia is proud to feature her journey, as it deeply resonates with our 5M+ community working toward a mission of empowering women and championing He for She and She for She.
Q: Ashley, what inspired you to start your own venture, Divine Glow Coaching?
It was a mix of life circumstances and a mindset shift. In 2021, I was laid off from my role as a social worker, and while I had years of experience in that field, I felt burned out and unfulfilled. I knew I was called to make a bigger impact. Around that time, my faith deepened, and God began revealing to me the vision of Divine Glow. The phrase “let your light shine” became my guiding truth. I realized coaching was the path where I could combine my background in social work, my passion for helping others, and my faith into something purposeful.
Q: Who do you primarily work with through your coaching practice?
I focus on working with women of faith. Even if someone doesn’t currently have a strong relationship with God, I believe faith—whether in yourself, your goals, or in God—is essential. As a woman, I connect deeply with the experiences and struggles of other women, and I want to create a safe and empowering space where they feel seen, understood, and supported.
Q: What kind of transformation have you seen in your clients?
Many of my clients experience a shift in perspective—the “aha” moments where they realize they’ve been holding themselves back. Often, they come to me with unorganized thoughts and a sense of overwhelm. Through my work, I help them gain clarity, structure, and balance. I even developed what I call the BOM Method—Break, Organize, Manage—which helps women strategically organize their thoughts, lives, and goals to move forward with confidence.
Q: Imposter syndrome is something many women entrepreneurs struggle with. Have you faced it too?
Absolutely, and I still do at times. In the beginning, I questioned whether I was truly qualified to call myself a coach, even though I had years of experience as a licensed social worker. I had to remind myself that I wasn’t starting from scratch—I was bringing valuable skills and insights into a new space. To combat imposter syndrome, I focus on continuous learning, reflecting on my track record, and remembering how far I’ve come.
Q: Looking back, is there anything you would have done differently when starting out?
Honestly, no. Every challenge shaped me into the person and entrepreneur I am today. There was one financial investment that didn’t turn out the way I expected, but even that taught me how to steward my finances better and become more intentional about budgeting. Every lesson has had its purpose.
Q: What exciting projects are you currently working on?
Right now, I’m leading Glow and Purpose Gatherings—monthly community meetups for women where we connect, share, and reset together. These are safe spaces for real conversations and faith-centered encouragement. I also host The Divine Glow Podcast, and season three is launching soon. My coaching programs, including my one-to-one Glow and Purpose Program, continue to help women find clarity, confidence, and direction in their lives.
