What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before starting your corporate journey/venture/initiative.
I am an American born in the US embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan. I lived in Afghanistan for 8 years before moving to the US. I’ve had the privilege of traveling around the world, meeting many wonderful people, and have lived in many different places. I started my business in 2016.
It has been a privilege to serve others and watch clients become more successful as they worked with me. After I started my coaching business, I started to look for additional ways in which I could support my clients and my community. Over time, I expanded my business, and added a radio show/podcast, a scholarship fund, a YouTube channel and a free, digital, quarterly, international magazine to my resume. My goal is to help as many people as possible create success in their everyday lives.
In my spare time, I love gardening, spending time at the beach, and spending time with my family.
Tell us something about your organization. What is it about and how is it helpful for people?
I help individuals diagnosed with giftedness, 2e, dyslexia, dysgraphia, AD/HD, ODD, dyscalculia, anxiety, high functioning Autism, memory problems, and minor traumatic brain injury (m TBI) improve their executive function skills. I work hard to customize my services to meet my client’s individual needs.
While the global pandemic of COVID-19 is associated primarily with adversities, it has also brought about a true boom in startups, with successful entrepreneurship in many countries. The pandemic has impacted all of us in one way or another. Would you like to share your experience on a personal and professional level?
The pandemic gave me an opportunity to offer my services remotely. This transition allowed me to offer my services to a larger audience and serve people that I may not have been able to serve before the pandemic.
What has been the response of the consumers towards your venture?
I have received a very positive response toward my venture. I have an entire page devoted to my testimonials on my website: https://ExecutiveFunctionCoachAz.com.
How has your life changed because of your venture?
Since I took a leap of faith and started my business life, it has become an incredible journey filled with numerous opportunities focused on helping others. Every year I create short-term and long-term goals, and although I love working toward my goals, I enjoy reaching my goals even more! This venture has allowed me to be more independent and make a bigger impact.
Would you like to share with our young budding women entrepreneurs the change you would like to see in the world if given an opportunity?
There are enough resources in this world for all of us to be successful. Nobody has to fail for someone else to be successful. So create your own opportunities and help others create them too.
