If your business could have a mascot, what would it be and why?
It would be a Dove. A Dove flies gracefully and flows through the air. It symbolizes peace, love, and the Holy Spirit, which aligns perfectly with the core values of my business. Just as a dove brings a sense of calm and serenity, Flowing Love aims to help women of faith, and all women, find inner peace, embrace their powerful and true feminine energy, and navigate life’s challenges with grace and strength.
What strategies do you employ to maintain a healthy work-life balance while running your own business?
I prioritize rest when my body signals the need for it and take frequent walks to reflect, pray, and listen to God’s guidance. These long walks also add physical benefits. I spend quality time with loved ones, which nourishes my soul. Additionally, I fuel my body with nutritious food and practice fasting for both spiritual and physical health maintenance. These practices help me stay grounded and aligned with my purpose.
When faced with unexpected detours on your business path, how do you pivot with grace and resilience, showing fellow women entrepreneurs the way forward?
I turn to my faith and trust in God’s plan, reminding myself that every challenge is an opportunity for growth, and also an opportunity to practice what I preach to women in tapping into their feminine energy. Asking for help demonstrates that, leaning into God as a powerful masculine presence who desires to lead and provide. I often tell people that in my business, I am a ‘vessel,’ and God is the CEO with the vision and plan. By staying flexible and open to new possibilities, I can pivot gracefully and find alternative solutions, knowing that if something unexpected happens, He holds the road map. In these moments, I turn to the ‘CEO,’ who provides the success strategies. This is why 99.9% of the women we serve see success in their personal and professional lives. I am simply the vessel who holds the anointing and gift to coach my clients. I also lean on my support system, seeking advice and encouragement from those I trust to pour into me. By being transparent and embracing challenges as opportunities for transformation, I hope to inspire other women to navigate their journeys knowing they never have to do it alone.
How do you measure the success of your business beyond financial metrics, such as customer satisfaction or community engagement?
Success for Flowing Love is measured through the positive impact on my clients’ lives, including their personal growth, improved relationships, and increased emotional well-being. This impact extends to leaders, executives, individuals in the work environment, and those in vulnerable and systemically excluded communities, focusing on both personal and professional success. Client testimonials and feedback are valuable indicators of the effectiveness of our services. Our surveys consistently reflect exceeding feedback, validating the positive impact we make. Additionally, community engagement and the ability to create a supportive network for both women of faith and all women are crucial markers of success. Our nonprofit arm, Flowing Love In Action, hosts numerous community events, workshops, and programs aimed at providing access to women who might otherwise be unable to afford our services. Seeing my clients thrive and knowing that Flowing Love contributes to their journey is the ultimate measure of success.
Can you share a memorable moment where you witnessed significant growth or transformation in your business, illustrating the impact of your services/products?
One of my favorites occurred during a post-coaching follow-up session when a client shared how embracing her feminine energy and emotional intelligence had completely transformed both her marriage and her leadership role. She had struggled with communication and connection, which led to frequent conflicts with her husband and high turnover in her company—no one wanted to work under her leadership. Through the coaching process, she learned to tap into her inner feminine power, heal past wounds, shift her mindset, communicate more effectively, and embodied the profound subconscious secrets that make all relationships work effortlessly. Witnessing her joy and the renewal of both her personal and professional relationships, which also directly impacted her bottom line, was a powerful reminder of the profound impact Flowing Love can have on women’s lives.
What role do you believe mentorship plays in the success of small businesses, and how have mentors influenced your own entrepreneurial journey?
Such an important role! Mentors provide guidance, support, and valuable insights based on their own experiences. They help in navigating challenges, identifying opportunities, and offering encouragement during difficult times. In my own journey, mentors have been instrumental in refining my vision, developing strategies, and staying motivated. Their wisdom and support have been invaluable. As a mentor myself, I strive to pay it forward by guiding younger women in their endeavors.
What’s your work all about, and how does it make a difference in the world?
My work focuses on supporting both women of faith and all women through deep-level Feminine Energy and Emotional Intelligence coaching. For individuals, I guide women in embracing their feminine energy, healing emotional wounds, and navigating personal and professional challenges, leading to improved relationships and greater fulfillment. For organizations, I enhance workplace morale, boost the bottom line, and reduce turnover by offering customized coaching and development programs for employees and leaders. Additionally, I provide spiritual health and development support, particularly for women of faith seeking a holistic approach. By driving personal and professional growth and creating supportive organizational environments, Flowing Love makes a significant difference in the world, enabling individuals and organizations to thrive and lead with authenticity and lasting transformation.
