Q: Tell us about your journey and how Optimise Your Marketing began.
Optimise Your Marketing started three years ago, but the work behind it has been going on for more than a decade. Previously, my team and I were part of another company, but when that business moved toward franchising — something we didn’t want to pursue — we branched off. Optimise was born out of a desire to continue doing the work we loved, but in a way that was flexible and future-focused. Today, we provide a one-stop solution for businesses — from websites and SEO to lead generation, AI tools, CRM systems, and social media campaigns.
Q: Who do you usually work with? Do you have a target audience?
Our clients are global — from the US and Canada to Australia and beyond. Instead of focusing on industries or locations, we look for people with the right mindset. We call it “the Big 12 framework,” which works across sectors, whether it’s a B2B engineering company or a small farm shop. What matters is that they want to improve, are open to testing new things, and are passionate about growth.
Q: What’s one inspirational message you’d like to share with our community?
Have fun with the journey. Too many entrepreneurs look for shortcuts, but real success comes from longevity, resilience, and learning every single day. My own growth has come through constant education and surrounding myself with the ideas of thought leaders. You already have the ability — it’s just about putting it all together.
Q: Getting clients is a challenge many entrepreneurs face. How do you tackle this?
We believe in going against the grain. While many follow trends like cold emailing or mass LinkedIn connections, we look for unique, creative approaches that cut through the noise. At the heart of it, it’s about human behavior and building genuine communities. Not every prospect is ready to buy immediately, so nurturing and engaging with the right people at the right stage of their journey is key.
Q: What’s next for you and Optimise Your Marketing?
Our mission is simple — help as many people as possible. We’re launching tools that let businesses access the same frameworks we use, including AI solutions that we’ll offer for free. Beyond that, we’ll continue growing our community through webinars, seminars, and weekly resources. For us, it’s always been about adding value first.
