Q: Can you share your story — how did you end up where you are today?
Wow! I think it’s been a series of conscious decisions—choosing to prioritize my mental health while continuing to pursue my love for design. That balance between passion and well-being has shaped my path and helped me stay aligned with what truly matters.

Q: What’s a value you live by every day — and is there a childhood memory connected to it?
Truth and integrity. I was deeply moved by a quote in my teenage years: “You cannot change the truth, but the truth can change you.” Since then, I’ve always tried to seek the truth—whether bitter or sweet—and live by it. It’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it.

Q: What’s a moment that made you feel really proud of yourself?
I felt proud when I topped NIFT across India in my 5th semester and received a financially rewarding scholarship. That moment meant a lot because it made my family, faculty, and close friends proud.
But the moment I truly felt proud of myself was when I overcame body dysmorphia and chose to be kind to myself. Making healthier decisions and embracing who I am—that pride came from within.

Q: How has being at Fuzia made a difference in your life?
Fuzia has given me a safe space to be my true self without fear of making mistakes. I’ve had the opportunity to learn, grow, and work to my full potential. What’s really special is the visibility on my performance and the guidance I’ve received to lead with compassion and authenticity.

Q: What message would you give to someone who wants to be in your kind of role?
Design thrives on imagination. Don’t let your current skill set define your creative boundaries. Stay curious, welcome change, and grow through every learning experience.
