Rishan, how would you describe yourself to our readers?
At my core, I love to build things. There’s something incredibly fulfilling about transforming an idea into a functioning solution that positively impacts people. One of the most meaningful parts of my work is hearing from users who’ve benefitted from what I’ve built—it makes the long hours and challenges worth it.

Tell us about HiringCoach.ai. What inspired this venture?
HiringCoach is something I’ve wanted to build for a long time, and for the last couple of years, it’s been my full-time focus. It’s an AI-powered platform that helps people navigate the job search and interview process. What excites me most is how universally applicable these tools are—regardless of sector or background, the need for career guidance is shared by many.

Who is HiringCoach built for? Who is your core audience?
The beauty of HiringCoach is that it’s built for everyone. The job-seeking process is filled with universal best practices, and we’ve designed the platform to cater to a wide range of users, no matter what industry they’re in. Whether you’re early in your career or making a shift, HiringCoach can help.

How have you promoted the platform so far?
We haven’t done much paid marketing. It’s largely grown through word of mouth, a few key LinkedIn posts, and public talks. Some of our most impactful moments came from speaking at events like UNICEF and the United Nations. These opportunities gave us the visibility we needed to reach the right people.

What has been one of your biggest challenges so far?
Building HiringCoach with a very lean team has been both exciting and overwhelming. There’s always more to do than there are hours in the day. I love the challenge, but it’s also a reminder of how vital teamwork and support systems are in entrepreneurship.

What are your short-term goals for 2025?
We’ve been building the platform for nearly two years and are now incredibly proud of where it stands. This year is all about getting the word out, making sure people know about HiringCoach, and giving them a chance to experience it firsthand. We’re shifting from building to visibility.

What motivational message would you like to leave with our readers?
Starting a venture is an emotional rollercoaster. There are high highs and very low lows. It can feel isolating, but it’s so important to remember your purpose—why you started in the first place. If you’re building something valuable that helps others, keep going. It won’t always be hard, and the impact you’re creating truly matters.
