Tell us about yourself and your professional journey.
Professionally, I began my career in retail banking before moving into consultancy, where I worked with banks and financial institutions in the UK and later in the Middle East. I spent more than 20 years as a consultant, helping organizations improve performance and transformation strategies.
After many years in consultancy, I felt the need to take a break and reflect on what I wanted to do next. I relocated to Cyprus and spent time thinking about how I could use everything I had learned to create something meaningful. That led me to develop a software platform that delivers consulting insights in a more accessible and cost-effective way for small businesses.
What inspired you to create FitBiz360?
Traditional consultancy is often expensive and accessible only to large corporations. I wanted to create something that works the way I do as a consultant but is affordable for smaller organizations.
FitBiz360 gathers information from businesses through structured questionnaires, analyzes responses, and provides insights and recommendations within minutes. Because the process is automated, organizations can gather feedback from all employees rather than a small group, which creates a more accurate understanding of workplace experiences and challenges.
What challenges in business transformation led you to develop your current solutions?
One of the biggest issues I observed throughout my consulting career is that many business projects fail to deliver the expected results. Research suggests that a large percentage of organizational transformations fail to achieve their intended outcomes.
From my experience, the problem is rarely the solution itself — it’s the people within the organization. Successful change depends on whether employees have the capacity, capability, and willingness to adopt new systems. Without employee acceptance and engagement, even the best strategies struggle to succeed.
This realization led me to develop a concept called Transformation Assurance, which helps organizations understand the likelihood of success before launching major initiatives and identify obstacles early.
How do you see workplace dynamics changing in recent years?
I believe the relationship between employees and organizations has shifted significantly, particularly after the COVID era. Previously, employees were often expected to focus on what they could contribute to the business. Now, many individuals also seek fulfillment, purpose, and personal well-being from their work.
This shift is influenced by younger generations entering the workforce and by broader reflections people experienced during the pandemic. Employees today want recognition, balance, and meaningful contribution. Organizations must understand these changes to build stronger and more sustainable workplaces.
Why do you believe a people-first approach is important for businesses?
Many organizations focus on culture at a group level, but I believe the real focus should be on individuals. Workplaces include people from different generations, backgrounds, and perspectives, so a one-size-fits-all approach no longer works.
When individuals feel valued, recognized, and actively involved, they contribute more effectively. Issues like high turnover, workplace stress, and low engagement are often symptoms of deeper organizational challenges. By addressing the core human factors, businesses can create healthier environments and achieve long-term success.
What are your goals and vision moving forward?
My goal is to increase awareness about what true success looks like in organizations — not just in financial terms, but in employee satisfaction and meaningful contribution.
I want to help businesses understand that focusing on individuals and their experiences leads to stronger organizations. By sharing this message and expanding our solutions, we hope to create workplaces where employees feel valued and organizations thrive sustainably.
“When individuals feel valued and recognized, businesses naturally succeed — real transformation begins with people.”
