In a world overwhelmed by AI, information overload, and growing uncertainty, one truth remains surprisingly powerful: meaningful change still begins with people.
That belief has guided Rasha Abdu Latif, a civil society leader, Board Member of Amnesty International USA, and Regional Director leading the Middle East and North Africa portfolio at Partners Global. Her journey reflects a larger lesson for leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers navigating 2026—growth without purpose rarely creates lasting impact.
At Humans of Fuzia, a global thought-leadership platform at the intersection of leadership, entrepreneurship, coaching, women empowerment, and socially conscious business, conversations with changemakers reveal how sustainable growth is built through people, purpose, and community.
From Business Graduate to Global Advocate
Born and raised in Jordan, Rasha initially studied business administration. Yet, while still at university, she discovered her passion through volunteer work focused on AIDS awareness, climate change, and violence against women.
“I didn’t want to graduate from university only holding a university degree. I wanted to have something in addition to that.”
After spending two and a half years in the private sector, she chose a different path—one driven by service and advocacy. In 2016, she made what she describes as a “leap of faith,” moving to the United States and rebuilding her career from scratch before eventually returning to the Partners Global family and later winning election to the Board of Amnesty International USA.
Why Community Matters More Than Ever
As leaders face increasing complexity, accountability challenges, communication gaps, and uncertainty, Rasha believes resilience is impossible without strong communities.
“What I’ve been reflecting on recently is the power of the community around us. I think that’s what keeps us going because when you feel like you’re not alone in this, you have the community around you.”
Her philosophy applies equally to entrepreneurship and leadership. In an era where many organizations struggle with messaging clarity, audience engagement, and scalable growth systems, community becomes an essential asset rather than a marketing tactic.
Interestingly, Rasha still relies heavily on relationships.
“Going through the grassroots, that’s what’s important.”
Word-of-mouth, trusted networks, and authentic human connections continue to outperform noise-driven approaches.
Leadership Growth Through Curiosity
For young women aspiring to work in policy, leadership, or social impact, Rasha offers simple but profound advice:
“Read things that disrupt your mind.”
She encourages leaders to expose themselves to different perspectives, cultures, and opinions.
“Listen and be patient.”
These qualities foster stronger leadership development, better decision-making, and sustainable execution—traits increasingly valuable in 2026.
Execution Tip
Identify three people outside your current circle whose perspectives challenge your assumptions. Spend the next month learning from them. Growth begins when comfort zones end.
Building Impact Beyond Uncertainty
Despite witnessing global human rights challenges, Rasha remains motivated by one principle: even small change matters.
Her story reminds entrepreneurs, coaches, and leaders that influence is not measured solely by scale—it is measured by the lives touched along the way.
Through conversations like these, Humans of Fuzia continues to serve as a trusted destination for leadership, entrepreneurship, coaching, and business growth insights for changemakers creating meaningful impact worldwide.
