What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before starting your corporate journey/venture/initiative.

I was a very focused and determined person growing up. Past circumstances propelled me into adulthood much earlier than I would have loved to. However, the opportunity was to become more mature at an earlier age, and so able to cultivate my inner wisdom at an earlier age.

I have always known what I wanted and needed to be the best version of myself; and where I was off track or was unable to accomplish what I needed at any age; I had concrete plans that I executed when the opportunities presented themselves.

Freedom and vitality for me were the most important things that I looked for and continue to strive toward in all that I do. With both of these, I am able to live a purposeful life for myself and others.

Every industry that is now a large-scale, top-notch business once started as a small idea in the minds of entrepreneurs. What was that idea or motivation that made you start your business /initiative? What motivated you within to say YES, go for it!”

For me, my work was and is my calling. With all the challenges and adversities I experienced at a young age, I wanted to provide others with the resources and tools that I gained as I was trying to figure out my own life. I enjoy what I do because it is also personal to me. As I grow, those that I have the privilege and honor to coach, also grow with me.

I am deeply connected to my purpose and to what I call my spirit. others call this, their soul, their intuition, their God, Allah and so on. Whatever word you use, is important to you. And so the journey is to help people be in touch with that higher inner version of themselves so that they can move through the world and flourish from a deep space of true authenticness.

Tell us something about your initiative or current role. What is it about, and what impact are you trying to make?

My life purpose is to help others harness and control the power they already have within, to live a life of and on purpose. We all have a light within all of us. My work is in helping you shine brighter and be the hero of your own life.

Through my coaching business called Design Your Life Foundation, I have created Conscious Leadership programs and courses for those who are ready to be on the journey of figuring out their life purpose, and ready to live a life of purpose.

In addition, I am currently coordinating and lecturing at a Netherlands based university that has a campus in Bali where, at the time of this writing, I am currently located. The module that I lecture and coordinate in a module called The Inspirational Coach and Leader.

Specific to business owners and leaders, I created Conscious Leadership coaching programs that help them sharpen their conscious leadership skills for higher performance, impact and higher return on investment. Conscious leadership skills, help leaders and business owners, to create conducive environments for their people to step in, flourish and contribute at even higher levels.

Everything I do is centered on Purpose.

Your journey and your vision are very inspiring, but are there any achievements or accomplishments you would like to mention?

Figuring and knowing my life purpose, then aligning everything I do with that, has been very inspiring and transformational for me. I have a wealth of knowledge around human behavior, human potential and higher level living that I share everyday on social media, through the courses and programs that I have curated, as well as in conversations with different people. These are my biggest accomplishments. Helping others figure out and live their life purpose is therefore central to all that I do, because I experience how fulfilling it all is.

Would you like to share with our young budding women entrepreneurs the change you would like to see in the world if given an opportunity?

One of my biggest visions is to coach national presidents. The change I would love to see is that all of us, especially all those in leadership positions, is for us and them to do the deep inner work that increases our self-awareness. All of this will allow us to see how we are all interconnected; and from there transform our nations, communities, businesses and households for the better.

Women are a growing force in the workplaces worldwide, standing shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts. There are cracks in glass ceilings everywhere, with many women breaking through to carve out a space right at the top of the pyramid. What are your thoughts about women leadership today?

My studies in neuroscience-based coaching show that when women are given the opportunity; they are able to lead even better than we are today. It is not about cracking any glass ceiling, but being aware of our capabilities, and from there, moving through our world with confidence, authenticity and a willingness to be and to do all that we can without restriction.

It starts with us figuring out our life purpose. What is it, and how do we align every single thing we do with that. The more we release our egos and transform, the more inclusive we become of all genders, colors, backgrounds and cultures. Women literally birth the world. Women are by nature creators. And so, it really is about re-embracing our feminine qualities so we can not be in competition with men and or with each other; but so we can be who we truly are – because through that – we include everyone.

Here are some facts to learn about the women’s brain: Women have:

  1. A higher capacity for leaderships
  2. An increased ability to connect, encourage and persuade people in teams, which is key to leadership and persuading people to buy into the organisational message, products and services.
  3. Women are more intelligent when they harness the benefits of the ‘female brain’.
  4. All these attributes in any leadership role in the home, office, community and nation

What would you want to say to our young women leaders/audience reading this?

  1. Figure out your life purpose then design your life around that
  2. Don’t be in competition with another person, but the higher version of yourself.
  3. Continue the journey of deep self-awareness so you can tap into that inner higher version of yourself.
  4. Where you need support, which you always do, find a mentor and a coach who has walked the journey that you want to walk. Make sure that journey is aligned with your purpose.
  5. Always listen to that inner voice within. It knows you more than anyone else around you.
  6. Don’t stay in situations, whether it be friendships, romantic partnerships, communities, homes and other spaces that stifle your voice and who you want to be.
  7. This life is yours. Define, Design and Display it to the fullest.
  8. I am here to help you where you need help. With all the courses, programs and eBooks I have put together for you; I can help you Define with as much clarity what your life or business purpose and vision is. From there, we Design or create roadmaps that lead you along your life or business purpose. And then we Display, that is, we cultivate habits and behaviors that will help you stay on track.
  9. Be kind and gentle to yourself in your thoughts and actions. There is only one you, so be the best version of yourself at each turn.
  10. Embrace and love the person that you are. You are important and needed in this world. Lift up your voice from a space of deep authenticity.
