Meet Erica Marx, a facilitator and coach passionate about helping people connect more deeply—with themselves and with others. Through her work, Erica designs safe, authentic spaces where voices are heard, stories are valued, and transformation begins. At Humans of Fuzia, we are honored to share her story with our community of 5 million people who are united by the mission of supporting women across the world. Her journey reflects the spirit of He for She and She for She, reminding us of the power of compassion, connection, and shared growth.
Q: Can you tell us a little about yourself and the work you do?
Erica: I create and facilitate spaces where people can show up authentically and connect on a deeper level. Whether it’s through coaching, group facilitation, or one-on-one work, my focus is always on helping people find their voice and feel seen.
Q: What inspired you to follow this path?
Erica: I’ve always been drawn to the power of conversations—how they can shift perspectives, build trust, and open doors to new possibilities. Over time, I realized that holding space for others and fostering authentic dialogue was not only my passion but also my calling.
Q: What has been the most rewarding part of your journey so far?
Erica: Seeing people light up when they feel truly heard. There’s something powerful about creating an environment where people drop the masks they wear every day and show up as themselves. That moment of real connection is always the most rewarding.
Q: What challenges have you faced along the way, and how did you overcome them?
Erica: One challenge has been trusting my own voice and believing that what I have to offer is valuable. It’s a process of constantly reminding myself that authenticity is enough—that being real is more powerful than being perfect. Surrounding myself with supportive people has been key to moving through those doubts.
Q: What message would you like to share with our global community of women and allies?
Erica: You are not alone. No matter what you’re going through, there are people who will understand, support you, and walk alongside you. When we allow ourselves to be vulnerable and connect authentically, we create ripple effects of kindness and change in the world.
As Erica beautifully shares, “When we show up authentically, we give others permission to do the same—and that’s how transformation begins.”
