What sparked your journey as a coach/entrepreneur? Was there a moment, challenge, or person that pushed you to take this path?

In April 2024, I was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. After my own healing journey, I decided that I wanted to serve others who had hit rock bottom. I had a close group of people with me who supported me through that journey, and I am incredibly grateful that I now get to do the same for others!

Tell us a bit about what you do! What’s the purpose behind your business, and how does it make a difference in people’s lives?

The purpose behind our business is this… “You Are Not Alone. You Are Not Broken”. At Grow2GetherCoaching, we live by this each and every day and in every single interaction. We create a safe space for others to achieve their goals by looking inward and finding the strength and answers that are inside of them and have been all along!

Thinking back to the start of your career, what were some of the biggest challenges you faced in establishing yourself as a coach/entrepreneur? How did you work through them?

The biggest challenge I learned at the start as a coach and entrepreneur was dealing with the ups and downs that come with running your own business. Unlike a salaried position, your income is dependent on the success or failure of your business. Not getting too high or too low is critical in being a business owner.

Is there a milestone or achievement you’re really proud of that you’d like to share?

A side project of my business is my podcast called Beyond the Darkness: Living with PTSD. After only 3 months of recording and publishing, it recently went over 1,500+ streams. This podcast has allowed others to share their own stories of overcoming trauma and sharing helpful information with our listeners.

Women are making big moves in workplaces around the world, leading alongside their male counterparts. What are your thoughts on women in leadership today?

Women in leadership today are transforming workplaces for the better—bringing empathy, collaboration, and resilience into spaces that have long needed more inclusive perspectives. We’re seeing more women step into C-suite roles, start their own businesses, and challenge outdated norms. Still, barriers like pay gaps, underrepresentation in certain industries, and unconscious bias persist.

The progress is powerful, but it’s also a reminder that structural support—like mentorship, equitable policies, and flexible work environments—is essential to sustain it. Women in leadership aren’t just breaking glass ceilings—they’re redesigning the whole room.

What advice would you give to future women leaders and aspiring entrepreneurs?

I would encourage them to own their own voice. Don’t wait to be invited into a space, step into it on your own. Build your network, surround yourself with mentors and other entrepreneurs. Your connections are your power. Lift others as you climb. Create space for other women to grow with you. True leaders lift up those around them.
