Tell us a bit about your journey and the mission behind Précis AI.
I began my career in U.S. politics, working in Congress and later for President George H. W. Bush. About 25 years ago, I founded Xenophon Strategies, a PR agency based in Washington, D.C., that still serves global clients. Over time, I developed a system of incubating businesses within Xenophon, which led to the creation of Précis AI—our fifth spin-off. Précis builds industry-specific generative AI platforms, starting with Précis Public Relations, our flagship product for the PR and marketing industry.
What makes Précis AI different from general AI tools like ChatGPT?
While tools like ChatGPT aim to serve everyone, Précis is laser-focused on PR and corporate communications. It’s trained on real industry use-cases and developed by a team that includes both software engineers and PR experts. So whether it’s writing a press release or building a campaign, Précis doesn’t just do it well—it does it better every time because it understands the language and needs of PR professionals.
Who is your ideal customer?
We serve PR agencies and corporate communications teams—those managing large-scale campaigns and content production. With journalism shrinking and content demands increasing, our platform offers a powerful, collaborative space to produce high-quality, brand-aligned content at scale.
How does Précis address regional and linguistic differences in global markets?
Though PR has local nuances, the core challenges are universal. Précis supports 31 languages natively, meaning it generates content as a native speaker would—not just translated versions. When an Indian client recently asked about Hindi support, we simply added it. This ensures the platform remains relevant and accessible across geographies.
How can companies like Fuzia benefit from using Précis AI?
Our platform helps brands turn existing materials into intelligent content pipelines. You can upload past articles, campaigns, or press releases into secure data vaults, allowing the AI to learn your brand voice. From there, it generates everything from blogs and editorials to press releases and social captions—customized to your style and message.
What other features does Précis offer?
We include audio and video transcription tools—great for repurposing webinars, podcasts, or interviews. You can narrate ideas or upload videos, and the system will transcribe and turn them into content-ready text. It’s all designed to save time while improving output quality.
“Starting a business is an act of creation—you begin with nothing but an idea, and build something that truly helps people.”
