Through her work with small businesses and women entrepreneurs, she helps founders move beyond survival mode and build sustainable, impact-driven ventures. What inspired you to start your journey in coaching and consulting?
It really started with one person. She had been running her business for over 20 years, but it had completely stagnated. When we started talking, I realized she wasn’t telling her brand story, didn’t have strong infrastructure, and was focused only on making sales instead of impact and longevity.
What began as a brand photo shoot turned into a deep business-building conversation. That moment made me realize this work was about much more than visuals — it was about helping people understand the heart of their business.

What challenges have you faced, especially in branding and marketing?
The biggest challenge is standing out. There are so many coaches, and figuring out how to differentiate yourself is tough. Another struggle has been hyper-focusing — identifying what I truly want to offer and where I can make the biggest impact.
One area I’ve leaned into is being a thought partner. Even short discovery calls have led to real transformations. I’ve also focused heavily on helping businesses become minority-certified, which opens doors to capital, procurement lists, and long-term growth. Seeing clients finally understand the importance of this and get to the finish line has been incredibly rewarding.

What has been one of your proudest milestones so far?
Launching a business from pure vision to a fully registered, operating entity has been huge. One client, in particular, started with a small idea of what her business could be. Over nine months, we clarified her values, refined her strategy, and helped her expand her reach through partnerships.
Watching her confidence grow and seeing her business evolve beyond what she originally imagined has been one of the most fulfilling parts of this journey.

What are your thoughts on women in leadership today?
Leadership as a woman — especially as a woman of color — comes with unique challenges. It’s about being firm, aligned with your mission, and ensuring your work aligns with your life’s purpose.
For me, leadership isn’t just about money or titles. It’s about impact. It’s about helping other women rise, see themselves as more than workers, and recognize their voices matter. In my coaching, I create a safe space — especially for women juggling multiple responsibilities — where they can rest, reflect, and reconnect with themselves. Healing and balance are essential to leadership.

What message would you share with future women leaders?
Be a little selfish — in a good way. Prioritize yourself and trust your instincts. If you feel pulled toward a certain path, try it. Take risks, experiment, and don’t hold back. That curiosity and courage might lead you straight to your purpose.

What does success mean to you, personally and professionally?
Success is happiness and connection. If you feel excited about your work the same way people feel about weekends or vacations, that’s success.
When your day-to-day work feels meaningful — not just repetitive or transactional — you know you’re aligned. That happiness is the real measure of success.

“Pour into yourself, trust your instincts, and don’t be afraid to experiment — your purpose often reveals itself when you’re brave enough to try.”
