Angela, before we dive into your story, you had an important question at the start of this conversation. Could you share your concerns?
Yes, I’ve been approached by many organizations offering to feature my story, only to find out they expect hefty payments after the interview — $300, $3,000, it varies. I’ve invested heavily in my own PR already, so I wanted to be sure this wasn’t a transactional conversation. I’m happy to share my journey if it’s coming from a genuine space.

Absolutely understandable. Let’s talk about your journey — how did you transition from fashion to becoming a health practitioner?
It’s been quite the journey. I spent over a decade in the fashion industry after studying fashion marketing and merchandising in Los Angeles. But in 2013, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. That experience changed everything. Post-cancer, I developed multiple chronic illnesses and autoimmune issues. My doctors only offered medications to manage symptoms, but my health kept declining.

How did you find your way toward alternative healing?
In 2014, I started experiencing severe allergic reactions — I would go into anaphylactic shock after eating. At my cancer center, I attended a Reiki circle, which introduced me to energy healing. One of the practitioners asked if I knew why I was sick, beyond the physical diagnosis. She explained that I wasn’t using my gifts — the intuitive, metaphysical abilities I had buried since my father, my biggest guide, passed away when I was nine.

That must’ve been a profound realization. What happened next?
It was life-changing. I began weekly Reiki sessions, and gradually, my allergic reactions and health improved. I realized I didn’t want to stay in fashion anymore. My perspective shifted — what good are designer clothes if your body is suffering? I felt called to help people heal on a deeper level.

How did you begin building your healing practice?
By late 2014, I became a certified Reiki practitioner and started my own practice. Over time, I pursued my Reiki Master certification and began working with clients. But life threw another curveball — I developed thoracic outlet syndrome, leading to a major surgery that nearly cost me my life.

That must have been terrifying. How did you cope?
The surgery led to serious complications — a collapsed lung, fainting spells, severe nervous system issues. I lost my ability to drive, nearly lost my independence, and my health spiraled. Despite eating clean, whole foods, cooking everything from scratch, I wasn’t improving. I was reacting to even the healthiest meals I prepared.

When did you start connecting the dots regarding your health?
After my relationship ended and I moved back to my old apartment, we discovered mold in the house I’d been living in — toxic mold everywhere. I had unknowingly been exposed to it for years. I returned to Pennsylvania to care for my mom after surgery, but my health deteriorated further — I dropped to just 89 pounds, had constant allergic reactions, and genuinely thought I wouldn’t survive.

How did you finally find the root cause?
A family friend who has Lyme disease suggested I get tested. Reluctantly, I did — and the results were overwhelming: late-stage neurological Lyme disease, mold toxicity, co-infections like Babesia and Bartonella, and parasitic infections. My body was overwhelmed.

What role did your diet and lifestyle play in your recovery?
I was down to eating only two foods — eventually, only red meat didn’t trigger reactions. I started a carnivore diet, which I initially feared, but it saved my life. Combined with energy work, spiritual healing, lymphatic support, and nervous system regulation, I finally began to heal.

And today, how has this shaped your work?
My practice has evolved into a total health approach — I combine energy healing, spiritual alignment, nutrition (mainly carnivore/animal-based diets), and holistic practices to help people with chronic illness transform their lives. It’s not just about physical health — the mind, body, and spirit must heal together. I’ve seen incredible transformations when clients embrace both spiritual and physical healing.

Do you manage all of this alone?
Yes, I’m a solopreneur. It’s overwhelming at times — between remote sessions, in-person work in Los Angeles, and speaking at conventions globally — but it’s my passion. I’ve traveled the world, sharing my story and teaching others how to go from dying to thriving.

“Our thoughts, spirit, and bodies are intricately connected. True healing only happens when we address all three together — that’s how we transform from chronic illness to thriving health.”
