Alex Smith is a serial entrepreneur and business coach passionate about helping small and medium-sized businesses overcome challenges and scale sustainably. Through his ventures, he combines digital marketing expertise, AI-driven lead generation, and one-on-one coaching to empower business owners to achieve growth and clarity. Q: Alex, could you tell us a little about yourself and what you do?
Alex: Sure. I’m currently running three main ventures. First is DoorWeb, my digital marketing agency, where we create WordPress websites and manage SEO and PPC campaigns for local businesses. I work closely with clients to ensure the delivery meets their expectations, often coordinating with a partner agency in India.

Second is Leadif, a software SaaS tool for LinkedIn lead generation and automation. We help solopreneurs and B2B businesses optimize their LinkedIn profiles, run targeted campaigns, and even use AI agents to handle outreach and book meetings.

Lastly, I’m a certified business coach with Entrepreneur’s Circle, working one-on-one with small business owners who have hit a growth ceiling. I help them systemize their operations, understand their finances, and scale sustainably. Many of my clients are faith-driven, and I also participate in networks like Faith Driven Entrepreneurs, combining business with purpose.

Q: That’s impressive! How do you differentiate Leadif from other lead generation platforms like DuckSoup?
Alex: Leadif is AI-driven, which allows us to create highly personalized campaigns for each prospect. It’s not just a tool; it’s a “done-for-you” service where I help clients set up campaigns and ensure they see measurable results. The combination of AI and personal guidance makes it very effective compared to other platforms.

Q: Who is your target audience for your coaching services?
Alex: My coaching is mainly for B2B business owners who are generating around a quarter of a million annually but want to scale up. They’re often stuck repeating the same results year after year, and my role is to help them implement systems, understand their finances, and grow sustainably. Faith-driven entrepreneurs are an added alignment, but the core is helping businesses thrive.

Q: How do you create awareness about your work?
Alex: I use a combination of my website, social media, cold email outreach, and LinkedIn lead generation. I also attend face-to-face networking events and host weekly webinars to educate potential clients about Leadif and my coaching services.

Q: What are your aspirations for the coming year?
Alex: For DoorWeb, I want to grow sustainably and eventually hire someone full-time to manage client delivery. For Leadif, I aim to increase our customer retention and expand our user base. And for coaching, I’d like to grow to 10 one-on-one clients while also launching an affordable group coaching program.

Q: You seem to handle a lot on your own. How do you manage all these responsibilities?
Alex: Everything is primarily me, though I do have a VA supporting a few tasks. Managing multiple ventures is challenging, and I’m looking for ways to delegate more as I grow. The key is staying organized and prioritizing what drives the most impact.
