Humans of Fuzia in conversation with(Priyanka Mishra)

Tell us about your path — how did your journey bring you here?
My path has been anything but linear but that’s exactly what shaped me. I started out in multi-billion-dollar media organizations, but somewhere along the way, I realized I wanted to build something of my own. So I launched a business that broke even in under four months and ran it successfully for over three years—until COVID hit.

That’s when everything changed. I found myself jobless and searching for a meaningful leadership role, and that’s when Fuzia came into my life. Since then, it’s been a journey of growth, resilience, and reinvention.

Today, as a Business Head at Fuzia, I love working with our team of over 25+ intelligent humans. I help coaches and consulting founders scale with smart VA and cloud team support. I focus on human-first growth and leadership, and I’m proud to be building Fuzia’s next-gen AI platform.

What’s a value you live by every day — and is there a childhood memory connected to it?
Honesty. My parents taught me early that it’s better to speak your truth than to sugarcoat your feelings. Yes, it might land you in a puddle at times… but in the long run it builds integrity and trust.

Another thing they instilled in me was respect for everyone, regardless of their financial or social standing. That’s stayed with me throughout my life and leadership journey.

Can you recall a moment (big or small) that made you feel really proud?
I’m proudest when I hear someone say, ‘You made me feel seen.’ That’s the real legacy for me.

Other than this, winning two Women Economic Forum awards (100th Edition) for my perspective on psychological safety in sales and community-led businesses. It wasn’t just a personal milestone or award, it was proof that empathy and innovation can go hand in hand. Getting recognized on such a massive stage in London was like a dream come true.

What has being part of the Fuzia team meant to you?
Fuzia, in many ways, has been life-changing. It’s the only organization that’s given me this kind of global exposure and ownership.

We are a 90% women team. That’s a whole different power dynamic. It’s like a boardroom and a sisterhood rolled into one. (Yes, there are debates. Yes, we still get work done with agility & impact.)

What message would you give to someone who wants to be in your kind of role?
For me, walking away from big job offers to build something of my own felt scary. But I took the leap and even though I could have failed, I didn’t. Today, I get to help people grow through kindness, smart strategies, and systems that work.

Your fear will always speak loud, but let your courage speak louder.

Also, try sharing your doubts. You’ll be surprised how many people feel the same way. It makes you feel less alone and way more confident.

✨ Priyanka’s journey is proof that leadership is not about titles, but about impact, resilience, and lifting others along the way. ✨
