Michael Wade

Michael Wade is a Trading Coach and Business Owner dedicated to helping individuals achieve trading success through community and truth. His mascot, a wise Buddha, symbolizes the importance of authenticity and peace in overcoming psychological barriers in trading. Michael emphasizes the significance of mentorship and personal growth, measuring success not just by financial metrics but by the sense of belonging and validation his community members experience. His mission is to inspire and support others, creating an environment where new possibilities emerge and success becomes attainable.

If your business could have a mascot, what would it be and why?

A wise Buddha!  At the heart of our business is the loving contribution of the truth to others.  Resting in the state of peace and love and being direct with the truth of trading.  Psychology is the biggest obstacle in trading and this stand provides the best vehicle for nurturing success.

What strategies do you employ to maintain a healthy work-life balance while running your own business?

We both are committed to both physical and spiritual health.  This includes working out the body and a daily meditation practice. We also live in beautiful surroundings in Costa Rica full of nature and fresh air.

When faced with unexpected detours on your business path, how do you pivot with grace and resilience, showing fellow women entrepreneurs the way forward?

Authenticity and transparency is key.  What’s the truth?  Speak the truth!  Look for what may be missing and put it in.  Don’t make oneself and others wrong.  It’s a matter of integrity or the state of workability, not morality.  These are ontological distinctions that we have employed from our work at Landmark Worldwide.

How do you measure the success of your business beyond financial metrics, such as customer satisfaction or community engagement?

Our primary objective is that people are enlivened by the experience of themselves.  Our focus to encourage community members to interact within the community has produced a thriving community.  Many join our calls while in restaurants, flying even while in hospital beds.  People are seen and validated as human beings and it keeps them coming to our community Zoom calls.  The icing on the cake is that many of them are finally making money after, in some cases, decades of failure with options trading.

Can you share a memorable moment where you witnessed significant growth or transformation in your business, illustrating the impact of your services/products?

There are many, but one that comes to mind is when one of our community members offered an unprompted share that this is the first time in 20 years of trading that he was making money.  There have been many of these.  Some of these are in the video on our website.  Another was when one of our members got choked up as he shared that this community was his family and that he was thankful that he had met us and joined the community.

What role do you believe mentorship plays in the success of small businesses, and how have mentors influenced your own entrepreneurial journey?

I’d say it’s VITAL!  When the going gets tough and emotions and contracted stories are rampant, an expert that knows the way and isn’t feeling the emotions and running the stories brings sobering insights that ground and guide mentees through hard times (which always come).  I’ve had mentors my whole life… sports, business, personal and spiritual development.  I have them now.

What’s your work all about, and how does it make a difference in the world?

Einstein is quoted as saying, “A life worth living is one lived in support of others.”  In particular for me, it’s all about leaving people lit up and enlivened, loved, seen and appreciated.  From this place new possibilities emerge for people and success is more attainable.
