What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before starting your corporate journey/venture/initiative.
My childhood was very confusing, I had no one directing me through life and had to learn the hard way. I had dyslexia and dyspraxia and at the time this was not known in schools so I didn’t get the help I needed. I became obese and as a result my health suffered. This became the changing point in my life and a gateway to myself beginning my fitness journey and career. I later added additional certificates with Life Coaching.
Every industry that is now a large-scale, top-notch business once started as a small idea in the minds of entrepreneurs. What was that idea or motivation that made you start your business /initiative? What motivated you within to say YES, go for it!”
I have a gift for mirroring people’s weaknesses and turning them into strengths. I have walked the walk, therefore I am able to give the most realistic advice needed for long term results.
Tell us something about your initiative or current role. What is it about, and what impact are you trying to make?
I aim not only to bring out the best version in an individual, I aim for their ultimate authentic version they were intended to be.
Your journey and your vision are very inspiring, but are there any achievements or accomplishments you would like to mention?
There have been many. I had a client who was 20 stones, I worked with her for over 3 years and with my guidance she shed a lot of weight slowly. Another client, who was not confident with their decisions they were making and all round was wasting their life on stuff that was not relevant, including the relationship she was in. I helped her stop procrastinating, make decisions that were best suited for her and in general look at her life from another angle.
Would you like to share with our young budding women entrepreneurs the change you would like to see in the world if given an opportunity?
World peace, no wars, kindness and respect and the spreading of human love to all.
Women are a growing force in the workplaces worldwide, standing shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts. There are cracks in glass ceilings everywhere, with many women breaking through to carve out a space right at the top of the pyramid. What are your thoughts about women leadership today?
I don’t look at man or woman roles, I know if I am good at something and have the knowledge to back it up I will do and will find a way to get my message across regardless.
What would you want to say to our young women leaders/audience reading this?
Build your emotional muscle and trust in yourself.
