1. What inspired you to begin your entrepreneurial journey?
Sifu Rafael: I believe I’ve been an entrepreneur my entire life. Even as a child, I would help others in whatever ways I could. For me, entrepreneurship is about service—asking, “How can I help?” God has guided me throughout my life, and I know I’m here to help people with the gifts and experiences I’ve been blessed with. My journey really began when I realized it was never about me—it was always about helping others.
2. Who do you primarily work with, and what kind of transformation do you support them through?
Sifu Rafael: I work with anyone who feels the need to reset their life—especially entrepreneurs, C-suite leaders, and busy professionals. Many people chase financial success but neglect their health and mindset. My role is to help them refine their mindset so they can reclaim their health, extend their longevity, and strengthen their legacy for their families, communities, and businesses.
3. What changes do your clients usually experience after working with you?
Sifu Rafael: It’s like wiping a dirty lens clean—they begin seeing themselves clearly. They recognize who they truly are and where their light is meant to shine. They start treating food as medicine. Their habits change, their perspective shifts, and they realize how much more they are capable of giving to the world.
4. Many entrepreneurs struggle with self-doubt. What are your thoughts on imposter syndrome?
Sifu Rafael: Imposter syndrome shows up when fear shows up—they walk side by side. People doubt their worth, their talent, their ability. But the moment they understand their value, imposter syndrome begins to disappear. When people learn to accept their strengths—internally first, then through others’ recognition—self-doubt slowly leaves. It’s about embracing your gifts and sharing them without hesitation.
5. Looking back, is there anything you would have done differently early in your journey?
Sifu Rafael: I would have done more. Become an expert in one thing—but don’t stop there. Once you master something, don’t be afraid to pursue something new. I recently wrote an 18-page children’s book in just 30 minutes because the idea came to me. We limit ourselves by assuming we can only do one thing. But we’re meant to explore, grow, and evolve.
6. What challenges do you see entrepreneurs struggling with the most?
Sifu Rafael: Understanding their own value. A lot of people think something is unaffordable—not because it truly is, but because they’re afraid to invest in themselves. And we forget the most valuable thing we have is time. You can always make more money, but you can never get back a minute. Recognizing your worth and valuing your time is the biggest challenge.
7. What kind of legacy do you hope to leave?
Sifu Rafael: I’m not focused on financial legacy. I want to leave thoughts, ideas, and wisdom that impact people 500 or even 1,000 years from now. If something I said or taught helps someone in the distant future—that is legacy. It’s about the footprints you leave behind, not the possessions.
8. How do you define success—personally and professionally?
Sifu Rafael: Success is spending time with people who matter—people who see you for who you truly are. It’s building human relationships that uplift each other. You can’t take money or possessions with you. But the impact you make on people—that’s the true measure of success.
9. How important are empathy and adaptability in entrepreneurship?
Sifu Rafael: Critical. Look at Blockbuster—they didn’t adapt and disappeared. Everything in life adapts. Our bodies change every 10 years. The world changes every day. Business demands constant adaptation. Sometimes opportunities require saying yes immediately; other times, you must say no. Empathy and adaptability keep you grounded, aware, and ready to grow.
10. Are you working on any exciting projects right now?
Sifu Rafael: Yes! I recently launched the New York City Mastermind Experience. It brings entrepreneurs together to connect, collaborate, and grow through shared insights and opportunities. We host events in New York, Tampa, Ireland, and more in the coming months. Every experience is different, and the goal is to help entrepreneurs step out of isolation and embrace collaboration.
11. What advice would you give to new entrepreneurs starting out?
Sifu Rafael: Entrepreneurship can be scary because you’re often wearing every hat at once. But remember—you do not have to do it alone. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Whether it’s a family member, a colleague, or a friend, support makes the journey easier. Start alone if you must, but don’t stay alone. Engage, collaborate, and build your circle.
“Your gifts are not meant to be kept—they’re meant to be shared. The more you share your light, the brighter you become.”
