Rebecca Schocker: Helping Men Find Strength in Vulnerability

Rebecca Schocker

Rebecca Schocker’s journey is one of resilience, transformation, and purpose. A single mother of four who once balanced school, real estate, and parenting, she found her calling not in chasing titles but in creating impact. Today, Rebecca is a mindset and life coach who has carved out a unique space by guiding men toward emotional openness and self-awareness. Her story is a reminder of how personal challenges can ignite a mission to help others live more authentic, fulfilled lives.

Q: Rebecca, what first inspired you to pursue this path?
In elementary school, I had a wonderful counselor who left a deep impression on me. Later, in college, I took a Myers-Briggs assessment that suggested I’d be good as a life coach. At the time, coaching wasn’t common, and I doubted my experience. So, I pursued social work, wanting to become a school counselor. Life took me into real estate, marriage, and motherhood, but my passion for psychology and human behavior always remained. In 2016, I had a turning point and realized I needed to grow and rediscover myself. That’s when I began health and mindset coaching, which eventually evolved into life coaching.

Q: You started working primarily with women, but now focus on men. How did that shift happen?
Initially, I worked with women on fitness, nutrition, and mindset. But I quickly realized mindset was the real foundation. When I began coaching life and mindset, men started approaching me as clients. At first, I resisted, but then I embraced it. I saw that men also needed a safe space to open up, be vulnerable, and express themselves without judgment. Over the years, it has become my mission to help men navigate their inner world.

Q: What challenges have you faced on this journey?
Balance has always been a challenge—being a mother of four while running a business is no small task. Another hurdle was learning to put myself out there. Talking into a camera and posting content felt awkward at first. But I pushed through with consistency, showing up authentically, and that helped me build trust and connection.

Q: What has been your proudest milestone so far?
For me, a defining moment was realizing I had achieved a financial goal I set for myself last year. I didn’t even know I was on track, but when I reviewed my finances, I saw that intention and consistency had paid off. It was proof that belief, focus, and persistence work.

Q: What are your thoughts on women in leadership today?
I believe the world needs women leaders. Women bring unique perspectives and a softer, empathetic touch that balances decision-making. It’s not about male versus female, but about embracing the strengths each brings. Both are needed, but women’s voices are vital.

Q: What message would you like to share with future women leaders and entrepreneurs?
Believe in yourself—first and foremost. Everything stems from belief. Even if you can’t see the results yet, trust your inner strength. If you don’t believe in yourself, no one else will.

Q: Do you ever face imposter syndrome, and how do you handle it?
Early on, I questioned if I was skilled enough or if people would listen to me. But over time, I embraced authenticity. I show up as myself and don’t pretend to be something I’m not. That’s why I don’t deal with imposter syndrome anymore.

Q: Finally, what is your personal definition of success?
Success is about balance and inner peace. It’s not just financial achievements but being mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and financially aligned. For me, success is internal richness—being calm, fulfilled, and showing up as the best version of myself.
