Priya: Strategy in one hand, soul in the other

Priya Saxena

Some people walk the line between creativity and logic — Priya builds a bridge between the two and throws a festival on it. With a whiteboard mind and a heart full of kindness, she’s someone who turns tasks into impact and campaigns into connections. From childhood speeches to stuffed animals to powerful brand stories that speak louder than numbers, her journey is a beautiful mix of purpose, play, and people. In our Humans of Fuzia series — where we spotlight those who lead with authenticity — Priya stands out not for the loudest voice, but for the realest one.

Q&A Interview
Q: What’s a little backstory about you — what’s shaped who you are today?
Let’s just say I was the kid who colour-coded her homework, gave motivational speeches to her stuffed animals, and turned every group project into a mini passion project. I’ve always had this weirdly perfect mix of strategy and creativity — like if a whiteboard and a vision board had a baby.

I’ve tried my hand at different things, and each chapter added something to the mix — resilience, clarity, people skills, and a deeper love for work that matters. What’s shaped me the most? Staying curious, making space for others, and learning that purpose doesn’t have to be loud — it just has to be real.

Q: What’s a value you live by every day — and is there a childhood memory connected to it?
Kindness. Always.
One of my earliest memories of this was giving away my favourite glitter pen set — a huge deal back then — to a little kid at school. I didn’t think of it as a “value” at the time. I just knew it felt good to make someone smile. Today, that simple feeling guides everything I do. If I’m helping someone find their calm, clarity, or confidence — kindness is always my north star.

Q: What’s something you’ve done (at work or in life) that you’re really proud of?
Apart from surviving corporate chaos with my sanity intact?
I’d say I’m proud of launching campaigns that didn’t just convert — they connected. They told stories, built trust, and left people feeling seen.

Also — fun fact — I once gave the biggest closure ever (still wearing that badge), and I’ve managed to keep a coin collection intact over the years. That definitely deserves an honorary mention.

Q: In what ways has being part of Fuzia impacted your personal or professional life?
Being part of Fuzia is like joining a party full of powerhouse women — where we share dreams, ideas, memes, and a whole lot of laughter. It’s made me bolder, louder, and yes — more meme-worthy.

Personally, I’ve found a community.
Professionally, I’ve found a cause.
And that combination? Game-changing.

Q: What message would you give to someone who wants to be in your kind of role?
There’s no perfect entry point. You don’t need a fancy degree, a 10-step master plan, or 100 LinkedIn endorsements.
You just need curiosity, courage, and a good WiFi connection.
The rest? You’ll figure it out — one heart-led step at a time.

“If you’ve got the will to learn, the heart to care, and the grit to show up — trust me, you’re already halfway there.”
