Meet Pouya Abbaspour Kanzaq, an entrepreneur with a vision to redefine how we connect, play, and belong in the digital world. As the Founder and CEO of Sameborn, Pouya is creating more than just a platform—he’s building a global digital movement that merges physical activity, blockchain technology, gaming, and inclusivity. His journey is rooted in faith, resilience, and an unwavering belief that failure is simply a stepping stone to fulfilling one’s true mission.
At Humans of Fuzia, we proudly share stories like Pouya’s to inspire our global community of 5 million changemakers working together for a world where gender, borders, or backgrounds do not define opportunities. We believe in He for She and She for She, and leaders like Pouya echo that spirit by promoting diversity, empowerment, and collaboration beyond limits.
Pouya, can you tell us about Sameborn, its mission, and how it impacts society?
Sure. Sameborn wasn’t born overnight—it’s the result of a long journey of self-discovery, faith, and determination. I’ve walked many paths—studied aerospace engineering, almost switched to tourism—but nothing felt right until I found entrepreneurship. I believe God led me here.
Sameborn is a hybrid metaverse that connects real-world physical activities with blockchain gaming. Our flagship product, Sameborn Tap, is actually the first millionaire-maker game on Telegram. But it’s more than just a game—it’s about unity, motivation, cultural expression, and building a digital space where people aren’t defined by geography or ethnicity, but by their shared experiences.
We believe in eliminating labels, and that’s why your He for She and She for She initiatives resonate so much with us. Interestingly, our entire design team is led by women—their creativity is the heart of Sameborn.
What was the biggest challenge you faced while building Sameborn?
There were many challenges—financial struggles, lack of infrastructure, and finding the right team. I explored countless developers and designers, faced rejections, but never gave up. I thank God for guiding the right people into our lives step by step.
Today, we have an incredible team made up of both men and women, and a growing global user base that believes in Sameborn’s vision.
You mentioned your women-led design team. What’s your perspective on women empowerment and leadership?
I truly believe God gifted women with unique talents—creativity and spiritual power. Women see the world from a different perspective, and their contributions are essential to innovation. Both genders bring valuable skills, but women have this special ability to nurture ideas, inspire change, and lead with empathy.
It’s their creativity that shaped Sameborn’s design and digital world. Empowering women and ensuring their leadership is crucial for progress.
Sameborn sounds like a global movement. Are your clients and users only from the UAE, or is it international?
Sameborn is completely global. We aim to create online marathons, physical activities, and social opportunities worldwide. Our platform is based on blockchain and metaverse technologies, which are inherently borderless.
People can engage, earn, and socialize regardless of where they come from. It’s not about regional boundaries—it’s about uniting people through innovation, gaming, and wellness.
Fuzia is working toward becoming a community of 10 million by 2030. What goals do you have for Sameborn in the near future?
Our vision is ambitious, but achievable. We want Sameborn to be one of the most impactful names in blockchain, gaming, and digital culture.
We’re building a movement—a lifestyle that reshapes how people engage with the digital economy. Imagine people celebrating their “digital birthdays” in our metaverse, expressing their culture, connecting beyond borders, and earning through physical activity. We believe Sameborn can revolutionize the way communities form online.
What advice would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs, especially women?
I want to share a personal story. About 10 years ago, I participated in a startup program where teams were randomly formed. My team won first place, and one of my teammates became a close friend. Today, she leads our design team, and even some of her students have joined us to shape Sameborn’s visual identity.
My advice is simple: trust in God’s plan. Everyone you meet serves a purpose. Find your mission, fail as many times as needed—but never give up.
For women, remember your creativity and spiritual strength are your superpowers. Use them. The right people and opportunities will come when you’re on the right path.
“Failure is not the end—it’s part of the process. Keep walking, trust your purpose, and your impact will follow.”
