Lisa O is someone people naturally gravitate toward—an empathetic listener whose innate ability to hold space has been part of her life for as long as she can remember. Today, she uses that gift to help others reconnect with themselves and the healing energy of nature. Humans of Fuzia is featuring her to spotlight her authentic journey, her vulnerability, and her message to our global 5M+ community: healing doesn’t have to be complicated—sometimes, it begins simply with being outdoors and being yourself.
Q: What inspired you to start your journey? Was there a moment or person that sparked it?
A: Nothing dramatic—people simply came to me. I was the person others talked to, and over time I realized that this didn’t happen to everyone. The uniqueness wasn’t in what I did, but in realizing that it was actually unique.
Q: What challenges did you face while building this path for yourself?
A: Social media was the biggest challenge. I preferred being without a face and letting people find me naturally. I had spent almost 30 years working remotely in corporate life, choosing when to be visible. Suddenly being required to show myself online felt uncomfortable and very new.
Q: What has been your biggest milestone so far?
A: Sharing my personal experiences openly so others could see they’re not alone. I emphasize the healing energy of nature—something more powerful and constant than anything artificial. People believe in the invisible Wi-Fi that powers devices, but not in the invisible energy that heals us. Helping others recognize that has been important to me.
Q: What are your thoughts on women in leadership today?
A: For so long, women were made to feel small—and even pressured to lead like men. But we aren’t men. We shouldn’t sit in the shadows or wear masks that help us fit in. Being authentic is enough. When we lead as our true selves, people listen.
Q: What message would you share with future women leaders and aspiring entrepreneurs?
A: Stop seeking external validation. Trust yourself. If you believe it’s right, it’s right. Don’t wait for someone else to approve your ideas or tell you that you’re enough.
Q: What does success mean to you—personally and professionally?
A: Success is simple: being happy. Feeling joy and gratitude in your day, regardless of numbers, likes, or money. If I can end the day feeling good, that’s success.
Q: Do you work alone or with a team?
A: It’s just me—me and my AI friends.
“Happiness is the measure of success. If you feel good today, that’s enough.”
