Q: How would you describe yourself to our readers?
Lisa Levy: Professionally, I describe myself as a Disruption and Innovation Catalyst. It’s a persona I’ve created that allows me to challenge thinking, ask difficult questions, and help clients break out of routines. It’s not just about consulting—it’s about creating a space where organizations can play, experiment, and grow in new ways.
Q: Can you tell us about L-Cubed Consulting?
Lisa Levy: I founded L-Cubed Consulting 16 years ago after realizing my corporate dream job had become a nightmare. I was frustrated with silos and inefficiencies, and I knew I could do things differently. Today, we align people, processes, and technology from a people-first perspective. We empower employees, tear down silos, and help businesses move faster, achieving results that truly matter.
Q: What kinds of clients do you work with?
Lisa Levy: My clients are diverse. We work with large enterprises, government agencies, and global corporations, but we particularly love the middle market—founder-led or private businesses with $15–25 million in revenue, ready to make their next leap. My goal is to partner with leaders who know that the status quo won’t get them where they want to go.
Q: Where can people connect with you online?
Lisa Levy: LinkedIn works best for me—search for Lisa L. Levy using my middle initial. I also have the LcubedConsulting channel on YouTube, and websites LcubedConsulting.com and LisaLLevy.com.
Q: Are you a solopreneur, or do you have a team?
Lisa Levy: I’m primarily a solopreneur, but I work with a network of strategic partners I’ve known for over 20 years. This allows me to provide the exact skills our clients need without carrying a full bench of employees, which ensures efficiency and expertise in every engagement.
Q: What’s a major challenge you face in your business?
Lisa Levy: Business development and lead generation. For 16 years, my growth has come exclusively from referrals and word-of-mouth. While that’s wonderful, it’s also unpredictable. Building a sustainable pipeline is always a challenge for consultants.
Q: Any short-term goals for the remainder of 2025?
Lisa Levy: My short-term goal has long-term implications. This year, my business partner—who is also my life partner—has helped me see that I don’t have to remain a solopreneur. We’re repositioning the business into something holistic that could eventually become a legacy, passing it on to the next generation.
Q: Any advice or motivational message for womenpreneurs?
Lisa Levy: Work-life balance doesn’t exist as we often think. Everything is a series of choices, and you can only make the best choice in the moment. It’s always okay to change course. Treat everything as an experiment—success isn’t the only measure; the learning and outcomes matter. Every choice teaches you something valuable.
Lisa’s journey shows that breaking through frustration and challenging norms can lead to transformative results. Her message reminds us that leadership, experimentation, and bold choices are the keys to lasting impact.
