Lindsey Paskvan: Turning AI into opportunity for everyday builders

Lindsey Paskvan

Lindsey Paskvan is a former enterprise sales leader who left a high-paying corporate role to build simple, practical AI products for staffing and consulting teams. Driven by a belief that AI is a great equalizer, Lindsey is racing to make powerful tools accessible so people from any background — including her hometown of Flint, Michigan — can learn, adapt, and thrive. Her story matters because it shows a rare mix of technical curiosity, product-mindedness, and relentless hustle that can inspire our 5M+ community of women entrepreneurs and changemakers.

Q — What pushed you to start this AI-focused journey?
A — “When ChatGPT came out I jumped in, took courses, and started using AI on the job. I saw firsthand how quickly things were changing and realized I couldn’t sit still — the technology would either make my work obsolete or amplify it. I’d rather build.” Lindsey explains that being at the intersection of sales, product and technology made the choice clear: use AI to solve real business problems and bring others along.

Q — Who are you building for right now?
A — Lindsey is focused on mid-sized and small staffing and technology consulting firms — heads of sales, CROs, VPs of sales — because those teams often lack good UX and tools that actually work for their workflows. She’s building intelligent prospecting and sales-focused AI features that plug into existing workflows.

Q — What kinds of benefits have early customers seen?
A — Even very early demos have produced excitement. For smaller businesses Lindsey helped with “intelligent prospecting” — interviewing the client about ideal customers, then building data-driven prospect lists and automations — and they saw immediate, practical value. With larger customers she combines domain expertise plus pragmatic tooling to quickly prototype MVPs and solve tangible field problems.

Q — How do you balance technical work and lean resources?
A — Lindsey uses rapid tooling (no-code / vibe-coding platforms, Supabase, API integrations) and automations to move quickly. She shared a simple example: recording weekly status updates, transcribing them with Otter, and feeding that into a system that automatically generates polished reports via OpenAI — small automations that save hours each week.

Q — Have you faced imposter syndrome? How do you handle it?
A — “Of course — every day,” Lindsey admits. Her approach is practical: look for outside signals (clients hiring or competing for you), celebrate small wins, and push doubt aside with a disciplined, “you have no option but to make it” mindset. She emphasizes that everyone — men and women alike — experiences doubt and that problem-solving ability matters more than knowing all the answers.

Q — Any early mistakes or things you’d do differently?
A — She wishes she’d started sooner. Lindsey says the faster you get to a yes or no, the faster you learn and iterate — and in AI the landscape moves so quickly that speed matters.

Q — What’s the legacy you want to leave?
A — Lindsey wants to democratize opportunity through AI. Growing up in Flint shaped her mission: she hopes to bring learning and innovation back to places that have been written off, helping them become hubs of opportunity rather than hardship.

Q — What are you working on next?
A — Building out productized AI features for sales and staffing workflows — simple, fast MVPs that solve real problems. Lindsey is especially excited about making AI solve “almost anything” through better problem-framing and tooling.

“AI is the great equalizer — if you’re curious, you can learn anything. Don’t be scared; start building.” — Lindsey Paskvan
