Q: What inspired you to start your entrepreneurial journey?
Kevin: I started working at a very young age—my first job was at 14. While working in retail and restaurants, I noticed I couldn’t make meaningful changes despite having ideas to improve things. That desire to “do it differently” never left me.
I wanted to create something of my own, to put my ideas into practice and see if they would work. Over the years, I’ve started over a dozen businesses—some failed, some succeeded—but each one taught me something invaluable.
Q: How did you begin your first business, and what challenges did you face?
Kevin: My first business, 18–19 years ago, was an e-learning agency. I was 22, working on a help desk, and thought, “I can do this.” But back then, we didn’t have today’s technology—no AI, limited tools—so much had to be done manually. Honestly, I didn’t even know what I didn’t know, and that ignorance helped me push forward.
I wasn’t “qualified” by conventional standards, but I gave myself the opportunity. That’s a recurring theme in my career.
Q: Tell us about Solopreneur tools and what you do now.
Kevin: I started https://solopreneurtools.io/ about five years ago, initially part-time, and have recently transitioned to it full-time. I help SaaS companies and entrepreneurs scale faster and smarter using growth strategies, automation, and content. For solo entrepreneurs, I focus on helping them make more, spend less, and work less by leveraging the right tools and systems. I also consult with SaaS companies to drive demand generation and recurring growth.
Q: What milestones are you most proud of?
Kevin: Transitioning Solopreneur tool from a part-time project to my full-time work is a big recent milestone. In the past, I’ve celebrated winning my first six-figure contract with my e-learning agency, selling my e-commerce store, and even small moments—like receiving a one-euro tip on YouTube from someone who appreciated my free automation content. It’s about gratitude for both the big and small wins.
Q: What advice would you give to women aspiring entrepreneurs?
Kevin: The world has improved for women entrepreneurs, but the playing field still has differences that can’t be ignored. Accept that reality, adapt your approach, and don’t let it hold you back. In 2025, it’s more possible than ever to start a one-person business—you don’t need permission or to wait for someone to give you an opportunity.
With today’s tools, AI, and automation, you can create your own path and control your destiny. Take a chance on yourself.
Q: How do you define success, both professionally and personally?
Kevin: For me, success is harmony across the areas I care about—family, friends, health, and business. It’s about alignment, where my professional life supports my personal life. Being an entrepreneur gives me the flexibility to prioritize my health, spend quality time with loved ones, and create meaningful experiences—all while building something I’m passionate about.
