What inspired you to become a spiritual business coach?
For me, it was a natural evolution. I’ve had two passions my entire life — spirituality and business. I started studying spirituality, personal growth, and metaphysics at just five years old, thanks to my mom, who raised me within the New Age movement. She also started a business when I was 12, and I helped her build it. By the time I was 19, I was helping another friend do the same. Over the years, I studied business relentlessly. So blending 50 years of spirituality with 38 years of business experience simply made sense. They influence each other in profound ways.
What challenges did you face when establishing yourself as a coach?
The hardest part was finding the language to express what I do. My work is highly customized, and much of it is esoteric, which made it difficult to clearly communicate the outcomes I offer. People don’t buy processes — they buy results. It took time to articulate the transformation my clients experience in a way that resonated with them.
What professional milestone are you most proud of?
It has to be learning to focus on one thing. I’ve always been a creator — constantly building new ideas, products, or offerings. But a mentor once told me, “One offer, one target market, one lead magnet, one platform, for one year — that’s how you break through.” And it worked. When I committed to that strategy, I finally cracked six figures and achieved the stability I’d been chasing.
I’d also add implementing the Profit First system by Mike Michalowicz completely changed my relationship with money and taxes. I used to stress for weeks over finances. Now, my taxes are done in a day, and I always have the money set aside. It brought peace of mind to my business.
Do you have a team supporting you?
Yes, I do! I have a virtual assistant, my husband currently edits my podcast, and I work with a website management company. Right now, I’m hiring someone to handle our funnels, marketing, and technical backend as we grow.
What are your thoughts on women in leadership today?
We still don’t see enough women in leadership roles, which is frustrating. I’ve always prioritized hiring women, and 70% of my clients are women, so it’s deeply important to me.
When I was younger, women leaders were often labeled aggressive or difficult for the same behaviors that made men “go-getters” or “strong leaders.” That has shifted somewhat — women are more accepted as ambitious and focused now. But we still face wage gaps, partly because women are conditioned to over-deliver and undercharge, while men often apply for roles they’re only partially qualified for.
Women tend to doubt themselves, and that limits their potential. We need to own our worth, think bigger, and know that being grateful for what we have doesn’t mean we shouldn’t ask for more.
What advice would you give aspiring women leaders and entrepreneurs?
Believe in yourself more than you believe in anyone else. We often cheer for others while doubting our own abilities. But you deserve success. Don’t be “realistic” — that’s often just pessimism disguised as practicality. Dream big, pursue your goals with everything you have, and know you can create the life and business you envision.
“Be your own biggest cheerleader — no one else can dream your dream for you.”
