Her voice reminds us of the importance of “He for She” and “She for She,” and how we can lift each other up through empathy and shared experience.

Q: Jessica, how would you describe yourself to our readers?
I am foremost a married homeschool mom. I started my entrepreneurial journey while I was home with my kids, realizing that I wanted to make a difference beyond my own family. Over the years, I’ve worked in different small businesses, but about five or six years ago, I started the business I have now. It has grown into something I can truly pour myself into.

Q: Tell us about your venture, Mindset Financial Coaching.
I created a space where women can openly talk about their struggles with money without judgment. Through one-on-one work, I discovered that women view and experience money very differently from men. Many of them carry guilt, shame, or negative stories about money. My role is to help them shift that mindset, see money in a new light, and feel confident in how they use it.

Q: Who do you primarily work with?
Mostly women, especially creative entrepreneurs. Being creative myself, I know the challenges—we were often told growing up that you’re either “good with numbers” or “good with art,” but not both. I believe money is a skill, not an inborn talent. Once women understand how it works, they can use it to create the life they want.

Q: Is there a particular age group you work with the most?
It’s open to all, but most of the women I coach are in their mid-30s to 40s. They’re often in a stage of life where they’re asking themselves, “How did I get here? I should have been farther along.” They’re questioning their identity and realizing that what they’ve been doing so far may not be what they want for the future.

Q: How do people usually find you?
My business has grown mainly through word of mouth and referrals, which I prefer since I also homeschool and work limited hours. Most women connect with me on Facebook, where my audience has been slowly building.

Q: What challenges have you faced on this journey?
My biggest challenge has been visibility. I’m naturally a private person, so stepping out as a business owner has meant shifting my mindset—seeing myself not just as a stay-at-home mom but as someone who can be a bigger voice for women around money issues.

Q: What are your current goals?
I’m focusing on audience building. Right now, I’m expanding my email list and creating content that aligns with my values. I’m working on an audio series that introduces the core elements of what I do—money, mindset, and what I call “magic.” This is all about helping women create abundance in different areas of life.

Q: Do you run your business solo?
Yes, I’m a solopreneur. I’ve been bootstrapping since the beginning, balancing homeschooling and running my business. Now that one of my kids has graduated, I have more space to think about scaling and growing.

Q: What message would you like to share with women entrepreneurs, professionals, and leaders?
Remember who you were when you first started. Our identities as women shift with each season of life, and sometimes we lose touch with that ambition or vision we once had. My message is to reconnect with that version of yourself and step back into the life you always wanted to create.

“Remember who you are and the dreams you had when you started—those parts of you are still there, waiting to be lived.” – Jessica Kleine
