Jingjn Liu

Jingjn Liu is the founder and CEO of ZaZaZu, the first education platform in Asia helping modern women navigate through their challenges both at the workplace and at home. We tackle the topics that others shy away from:

  • Female Health
  • Microaggression & Sexism at the Workplace
  • Building Confidence in Competence

As a serial entrepreneur with a deep passion for positive impact, Jingjin aims to empower women to own their narrative both in the Bedroom and in the Boardroom.  Prior to ZaZaZu’s inception, Jingjin spent more than 10 years in the entrepreneurial and automotive world. During her previous tenures, she has led global product management teams, driven portfolio turnarounds and built up organizations from scratch, all of this across a wide range of geographies such as Germany, China, India and Singapore.  Before ZaZaZu, Jingjin co-founded ASBO Drives to help rural farmers in China increase crop yields by applying technology to decrease machine downtime. The company was successfully acquired by China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) in 2019. Prior to her entrepreneurial journey, Jingjin was also the first and youngest woman to become Global Marketing Director at one of the world’s biggest automotive suppliers WABCO, managing portfolios of up to $800M. She delivered over $200M in revenue growth at WABCO while achieving $5M in sales for ASBO Drives. Jingjin is an active Angel Investor, LP and Advisor (especially) for female-driven early-stage startups.

What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before the venture/ corporate journey?

Prior to ZaZaZu’s inception, I spent more than 10 years in the entrepreneurial and automotive world. During my previous tenures, I led global product management teams, driven portfolio turnarounds and built up organizations from scratch, all of this across a wide range of geographies such as Germany, China, India and Singapore.

Before ZaZaZu, I co-founded ASBO Drives to help rural farmers in China increase crop yields by applying technology to decrease machine downtime. The company was successfully acquired by China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) in 2019. Prior to my entrepreneurial journey, I was also the first and youngest woman to become Global Marketing Director at one of the world’s biggest automotive suppliers WABCO, managing portfolios of up to $800M. I delivered over $200M in revenue growth at WABCO while achieving $5M in sales for ASBO Drives.

Tell us something about your initiative or current role. What is it about, and what impact are you trying to make?

90% of working women face a conflict of interest while balancing familial/ personal and professional obligations. 84% working women have faced stereotypes or judgements around female health conditions such as period, postpartum syndromes and menopause.

Women are taught from a young age to be ashamed of our bodies. We’re conditioned to stay small, look pretty, and have no flaws – and if we do, we must certainly never admit them. This is maybe why so many areas of women’s health – from periods to fertility to menopause – are shrouded in taboo.

ZaZaZu is here to change that. We tackle the topics that others shy away from -, Female Health, Intimacy and Confidence. Our experts run workshops helping professional women to better navigate through their challenges in the workplace and at home.

Our workshop focuses upon specific self-awareness building in order to get to know yourself and recognize the power behind you. Various activities help to identify your relationship with your body & mind, challenge your self-limiting beliefs and build off of them.

Your journey and your vision are very inspiring, but are there any achievements or accomplishments you would like to mention?

Would you like to share with our young budding women entrepreneurs the change you would like to see in the world if given an opportunity?

Not much, I have always been in the scene of empowering women, my venture reflects my value and earning purpose driven profit is empowering.

What would you want to say to our young women leaders/audience reading this?

We can’t change the life of girls unless we change the future of women and everyone can contribute to that.
