Meet Dr. Helen Orombi, a former psychotherapist turned transformational coach, whose mission is to guide purpose-driven women—coaches, creatives, and healers—towards a more empowered relationship with money, spirituality, and self. With over 14 years of experience in psychotherapy and a deep spiritual foundation, Helen combines her clinical background with soul-centered coaching to help women step into their full potential. Humans of Fuzia is proud to feature her story—one that aligns deeply with our global mission of uplifting women, encouraging collaboration, and building a nurturing community of 5 million strong. In a world where She for She and He for She are the way forward, Helen’s story is one of wisdom, courage, and unwavering service.
Can you tell us about your journey and what inspired your transition from psychotherapy to coaching?
For 14 years, I worked as a psychotherapist. But over time, I realized I was focusing only on what was ‘wrong’ with people. I wanted to explore what was possible for them. That led me to transition into coaching—particularly transformational coaching for women—where I now focus on expanding identity and helping women step into their full power.
What is the central mission behind your work today?
My mission is to help impact-driven women transform their relationship with money. For so many of us, money becomes the barrier that stops us from sharing our voice, our services, and our brilliance. I use my therapy background to help clients shift their identity and then take empowered action. At the core, it’s about helping women embody their highest potential.
How do you incorporate spirituality into your coaching practice?
Spirituality is the container that holds everything I do. I believe every woman carries a divine blueprint, and part of my work is helping her access it. We often have disempowered relationships with spirituality, and I want to help women reconnect with that sacred part of themselves—because that’s where real transformation begins.
What kinds of coaching services or resources do you currently offer?
I work primarily through group coaching and one-on-one sessions. My current program is called Becoming a Wealthworthy Woman. I also offer a free eBook, and I recently hosted a webinar that’s available on YouTube. I keep my group sessions small so I can connect personally with each participant.
How are you currently building awareness about your work?
Right now, I use Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube, and I plan to add Pinterest soon. Word-of-mouth has been powerful for me—many clients come through referrals. But I’m focused now on expanding my reach and visibility through digital courses and online content.
What are your goals for the near future?
By the end of 2025, I want to launch two signature three-month programs—one in spring and one in fall. I’m also growing a membership program that offers an accessible, community-focused space for women to connect and grow. It’s small right now, but I’m nurturing it steadily.
As a solopreneur, what are some of the challenges you’ve faced in your journey?
Visibility is my biggest challenge—getting in front of new audiences, being invited to podcasts, and increasing my digital reach. I don’t struggle with creating content, especially since I love using AI. But I do want to find better ways to get my message seen and heard.
What message would you love to share with our community of women around the world?
We all have a blueprint for who we’re meant to become. My wish is for every woman to live her life like a shooting star—brilliant and unforgettable—because our time on this earth is short. Make it count.
Helen’s journey reminds us that healing and transformation are not separate—they are deeply intertwined. Her work is a call to step boldly into abundance, purpose, and spiritual wholeness. Her story is not just about helping women thrive; it’s about showing them that they are already worthy.
