Q: Can you share your professional journey and what inspired you to become a coach?
Gabriela Schreiber: I spent over 30 years in the corporate world, primarily working in business transformation, operations, and management consulting. My work involved improving systems, creating processes, and helping organizations transform.
At a certain point, I realized I wanted to give back in a more personal way. I had gained a lot of experience and wisdom over the years, and I discovered that helping individuals through their personal transformations was deeply rewarding. Having overcome challenges like shyness, lack of confidence, and self-belief myself, I felt called to support others facing similar struggles.
Q: What inspired you to launch your coaching practice?
Gabriela Schreiber: While working in corporate environments, I helped businesses transform, but I wanted to focus more on people as individuals. This led me to launch Ilumina Life Coaching, where I help women—especially high-achieving women over 40—navigate personal growth and transformation.
I chose this group because I understand their experiences. Many of them reach a stage in life where they feel there must be something more meaningful they want to pursue, and I help them reconnect with themselves and move forward with clarity.
Q: What makes your coaching approach unique?
Gabriela Schreiber: My approach is identity-based and focuses on deep personal transformation rather than traditional goal-setting or habit-building. I use identity-based coaching along with the Stuck Story Coaching Method to help women rewrite the stories from their past that continue to hold them back.
My work combines narrative psychology, neuroscience, and positive psychology in a structured 12-week program where each session builds on the previous one. The goal is to help women feel seen, heard, and valued while creating a life that aligns with who they truly are becoming.
Q: Who do you primarily work with and what transformation do your clients experience?
Gabriela Schreiber: I work mainly with high-achieving women over 40 who are at a crossroads in life. Many have had successful corporate careers but feel a sense of restlessness or a desire for something more meaningful.
Through my coaching, they gain clarity, reconnect with their voice, and build confidence to make better decisions—whether that means pursuing new opportunities or finding fulfillment in their current path.
Q: What motivated your transition from corporate life to entrepreneurship?
Gabriela Schreiber: After decades in corporate roles, I realized I wanted to create a more meaningful impact by working directly with individuals. My corporate background in systems and operations helped me build structured processes for my business, making the transition smoother.
Entrepreneurship allows me to create my own schedule, define my impact, and focus on work that aligns with my purpose of helping others transform their lives.
Q: What is your vision for the future of your work?
Gabriela Schreiber: My goal is to continue helping women transform their lives by rewriting the stories that limit them and empowering them to step into their authentic identity. I want to expand my reach and support more women in creating lives that feel meaningful, fulfilling, and aligned with who they truly are.
“Everything begins with self—when you reconnect with who you truly are, you can create a life that feels meaningful and authentic.”
