Louis Websdale is the Founder of Websdale Ltd, a UK-based digital marketing agency specializing in website design and video editing. A self-starter from a young age, Louis began his entrepreneurial journey at 14, offering video editing services to YouTube gamers. By 2021, amid the global pandemic, he officially launched his agency. Known for his down-to-earth and tech-simplifying approach, he has helped numerous small businesses establish a professional digital presence. His work has earned him recognition, including being named a Rising Star Winner in the 2023 Brentwood Business Awards.
Could you describe your initiative/startup’s purpose and vision and how it benefits its target audience?
I provide website design and video editing services to a range of businesses across the UK and beyond. Since its inception in 2021, the business has grown into an established local leader in the website design and development space with the majority of my leads coming from recommendations from previous successful projects. Working mainly with smaller businesses, I like to think that I offer a down-to-earth service, one that simplifies tech and allows businesses to get up and running with a new website or revamp an existing one to show off their company in a more professional light.
As far as entrepreneurship is concerned, your journey is quite inspiring. What are some of your most significant accomplishments and how did you achieve them?
I was delighted to be a Rising Star Finalist in 2022 and a Rising Star Winner in 2023 in the Brentwood Business Awards, a local awards competition. Both of these are absolute testaments to the hard work and dedication that has made my business the success that it is today. These acknowledgments helped me to bolster my reputation within the industry and motivated me to continue growing the business.

In what ways has your life changed since you began your entrepreneurial journey?
My life has changed drastically since beginning my entrepreneurial journey, which has been wonderful to experience. For example, running my own business has helped me to gain a lot of confidence and discipline, which has been bolstered even more by aspects in my personal life such as my Buddhist faith.
