Tell us about your life before the venture/ leading up to your venture?
I was an ambitious professional myself and spent 25+ years in corporate environments as a brand marketing expert climbing ladders in the constant pursuit of what would bring me satisfaction and fulfillment. Eventually I realized I had to do some deep transformational work on myself to achieve my own inner peace and acceptance – and that changed the game for me. In 2018 I decided to leave corporate to see what else was possible for my own career and to honor that my deepest passion was to help others on their career journey in finding more peace, ease and honesty about what they were truly seeking. It was a huge leap of faith and a complete change in my own career – and now I share my tips and inspiration with audiences large and small that are eager to get unstuck.
Tell us something about your organization. What is it about and how is it helpful for people?
My organization believes in helping clients to trust themselves again and tap into their own inner guidance for whatever challenges they are facing. The key to the work we do is not in having all the answers, but rather having better questions that guide folks to make choices in full alignment with what feels authentic to the individual. You may have seen videos about transformation with a home makeover or a hair makeover – and the work we do is a makeover of the heart. What we do is support folks to see the truth of their beautiful journey so that they show up in full inner confidence. We do this by addressing outdated inner critic narratives and honoring what needs they have now based on how they want to show up in the world.
What has been the response of the consumers towards your venture? (Please talk about your recognitions/ achievements here)
When Tosca steps on stage – the audience is forever changed. They are not only able to see things with a new lens but take new actions with the tools they are provided. This is possible because Tosca uses vulnerable storytelling to resonate with her audience and show them how they are getting in their own way of success.
Private clients discover entirely new paths that are available to them, new ways of moving in the world, and new tools for how to lead others with a people-first approach. Over and over again, clients express how grateful they are for the chance to work with Tosca.
How has your life changed because of your venture?
Oh my goodness, big question. The number one way my life has changed is in the constant unraveling of who I am and what it is I truly want for myself. For so long I kept my biggest dreams in a box and locked them away, but I’ve been giving those dreams oxygen and that has created such magic in my life. A few years ago I honored my desire to change lives by getting on stages and inspiring audiences and giving them new tools to change their growth trajectory. My dedication to do my own inner work has only increased because I now also owe it to the people I serve to be in constant transformation myself. To know what it feels like to sit in the muck over and over again in the hope and belief that so much more is possible. My life has changed in that I feel more free to be me, more accepting of my own path and more grateful for the ability to do this work in the world – even though the path is not an easy one by any stretch of the imagination.
What are you working on right now?
Right now I’m working on an up-level of my own branding and messaging with a new website, headshots and revamped LinkedIn profile. Again, I am doing the work that I support my clients with because my business has evolved and my brand needs to now represent the new version of myself and my business.
Give a motivational message for the audience/women who are reading this.
Whatever your inner critic voice is telling you NOT to do; not to take the risk, not to do the thing your heart knows is for you, not to rock the boat, remember the universal truth about your inner critic is that it tells you lies. Your job is to remember the truth – the truth that you can’t predict the future, the truth of your values, the truth of possibility, the truth that you can’t write the story before it’s written. You have a choice in every moment to make the decisions that honor what feels in full alignment with your head and heart and it’s never too late to say yes to that which lights you up, fills your cup and brings you joy. If ever you’re not sure which way to go, which decision is ‘right’, which small step will bring you closer to your dreams, then simply choose to be your own best friend at that moment. You are always the one with the best answers for you so trust yourself, you got this!
