Empowering Mothers Through Science and Compassion: The Journey of Jetzely González

Jetzely Gonzalez

Jetzely González is a proud Latina mother, wife, CEO, and founder of Storgē Motherhood™—a U.S.-based maternal wellness company. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Health and specializes in holistic nutrition for motherhood. Her mission is to educate and empower women to nourish themselves and their babies through science, emotional connection, and integrative care, redefining what it means to thrive in every stage of maternity.

What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before starting your entrepreneurial journey/venture/initiative.
I grew up in a hardworking and generous Latino family that taught me resilience, gratitude, and the power of helping others. From an early age, I learned to be strong and dreamed of creating something meaningful and inspiring. I was always fascinated by how food could heal, nurture, and shape our health, and that curiosity grew into a lifelong purpose. I first studied Business, then earned a Master’s in Public Health, and later specialized in holistic nutrition for motherhood. Before founding Storgē Motherhood™, I worked as a case manager in nonprofit organizations, supporting vulnerable families—an experience that strengthened my commitment to empower women through science, compassion, and nourishment.

Every industry that is now a large-scale, top-notch business once started as a small idea in the minds of entrepreneurs. What was that idea or motivation that made you start your business/initiative? What motivated you within to say, “YES, go for it!”
The idea behind Storgē Motherhood™ was born from both science and emotion—from my own journey as a woman, mother, and motherhood nutrition specialist who saw how unprepared and unsupported many women feel during motherhood. I wanted to change that. My motivation came from a deep desire to merge holistic nutrition, emotional care, and education to nourish mothers at every stage—from fertility to lactation. I said “yes” when I realized that motherhood didn’t need to be just survived; it could be lived with strength, knowledge, and nourishment. Storgē became my way to give that transformation to other women.

Tell us something about your initiative or current role. What is it about, and what impact are you trying to make?
Storgē Motherhood™ is a holistic wellness company dedicated to nurturing and supporting women through every stage of motherhood. As the Founder and CEO, my mission is to bridge science and emotion through bioavailable supplements, education, and community. Storgē aims to educate, empower, and provide women with the tools they need to take control of their health and their children’s well-being. My goal is to offer the very best in education, supplementation, and holistic guidance, helping mothers—and women in general—experience a conscious, healthy, and fulfilling journey. The impact I strive for is simple yet profound: stronger mothers, healthier babies, and a generation nourished by both love and science.

Your journey and your vision are very inspiring, but are there any achievements or accomplishments you would like to mention?
Some of the achievements I’m most proud of include creating Storgē Motherhood™ from the ground up—a brand born from love, respect, and empathy for all women and mothers. We are growing every day, gaining visibility at national wellness and maternity expos such as the ABC Kids Expo and The Prego Expo, and building meaningful partnerships that reflect our mission. My greatest accomplishment is knowing that what began as a dream is now touching lives—educating, empowering, and nourishing women through bioavailable supplements, holistic education, and emotional support. I look forward to continuing this journey, achieving new milestones, and reaching even more women around the world.

Would you like to share with our young budding women entrepreneurs the change you would like to see in the world if given an opportunity?
If I could inspire change, it would be to help women believe in their power to create, heal, and lead with compassion. I would love to see a world where women, especially mothers, are supported, respected, and educated to take control of their health and their dreams. I want young women entrepreneurs to know that success doesn’t come from perfection, but from purpose. When we build from love and authenticity, we don’t just create businesses—we create movements that change generations.

Women are a growing force in workplaces worldwide, standing shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts. What are your thoughts about women’s leadership today?
Women’s leadership today is redefining the way the world does business—with empathy, purpose, and vision. I believe that when women lead, they bring balance between strength and sensitivity, strategy and compassion. We are no longer asking for a seat at the table; we are building new tables where collaboration, integrity, and humanity guide decisions. As a Latina founder and mother, I see leadership not just as power, but as service—the ability to inspire change, nurture growth, and lead with love.

What would you want to say to our young leaders/audience reading this?
To every young leader reading this, trust your voice, your story, and your intuition. Don’t wait for the perfect moment—create it. Lead with purpose, not perfection. Be disciplined, determined, and consistent, and never lose sight of your purpose. Let us be the kind of people who serve others with love, compassion, and respect—offering something truly good to the world. Remember that your heart is your greatest strength, and when you lead with love and authenticity, you don’t just build success; you build impact, healing, and hope for others. The world needs what only you can create.
